A Walk to Remember adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!*

Booktrack editions are essentially a new genre of digital storytelling entertainment. Music and ambient audio are added to complement and enhance the audiobook experience. It is a synchronized movie-style soundtrack that complements the narration of existing audiobooks; the tempo and rhythm of the score harmonize with action, dialogue and the characters' emotional arcs.

There was a time when the world was sweeter.... when the women in Beaufort, North Carolina, wore dresses, and the men donned hats....

Every April, when the wind smells of both the sea and lilacs, Landon Carter remembers 1958, his last year at Beaufort High. Landon had dated a girl or two, and even once sworn that he'd been in love. Certainly the last person he thought he'd fall for was Jamie, the shy, almost ethereal daughter of the town's Baptist minister....

Jamie, who was destined to show him the depths of the human heart - and the joy and pain of living. The inspiration for this novel came from Nicholas Sparks's sister: her life and her courage. From the internationally best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, comes his most moving story yet....

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

Great audiobook experience!

A Walk To Remember is my all time favorite Nicholas Sparks book and movie so I was excited to try this one out.
Though I expected a different kind of voice (a much younger one, I guess), the narrator actually did a good job on telling the story as if it was his own, which is vital for a great book like this.

For the music and occasional ambiences, I love how it helped me imagine the scenes as if I was really there. It was like a movie but this left me room for imagination. I have a habit of losing interest in a book that I tend to skip to the interesting parts but the soundtrack made me listen from start to end! And this book still made me cry..
Overall, I had a great experience! Will definitely buy another Booktrack edition audiobook.
Jamie and Landon forever!

The music though!! ugh

I absolutely love this book. And the narrator was great. But the background music was awful. The tempo of the songs did not go with the mood of the story or the particular place it was being played. I listened to The Last Song (not a booktrack edition and also a Nicholas Sparks that was turned into a movie) and they had the piano music from the movie playing in the background. I though maybe they would do that with this. Nope. I couldn't even finish listening to this version the music was so awful and gave me a headache
