Publisher's Summary
Upon her grandmother's death, Izzy Fontaine finds herself in possession of a Wild Goose Chase pattern quilt that supposedly leads to a great treasure. A quilt, a secret message, a dog, and a possible treasure make for an unforgettable Christmas!
Of course, once the rest of the family finds out about the "treasure map," they're determined to have a go at the treasure themselves. And, if that weren't enough, Max Logan, a local museum curator, contacts Izzy and says that Grandma Isabella promised him the quilt. What is it about this quilt that makes everyone want it? Is Izzy on a wild goose chase of her own, or a journey that will lead her to the treasure her grandmother intended?

There is a sweet little terrier in the story!
The characters are charming and it was fun that this story takes place around Christmastime. My favorite part of the story is the sweet terrier dog-he's so cute on the cover! This was a good story with a great message and I loved the love that Izzy obviously had for her late grandmother. However, I didn't quite feel as emotionally attached to the characters as I was in the first book (Beyond The Storm), perhaps because the characters weren't going thru any life-threatening scenarios this time. I think it would have been really neat if the book were just a little bit longer and included more about the history of the quilt, perhaps some journal articles or POV's from the women who worked on the quilt. I loved Stephanie Willis' narration. She has a nice voice a calm manner of reading that made for a really great listening experience.

Loved it!
What a fun little listen! I enjoyed this book very much. I thought the narration was great, the story itself wasn't lacking or draggy and had wonderful meaning. I would listen to it again.

Best Christmas story this year!
I've struggled with mild seasonal depression since my mom died a few years ago. I find that listening to Christmas fiction helps me feel like getting into the celebration of the season a lot more than the medication my MD gave me.
This was the best one I've read this season! It was everything you wanted in holiday fiction and more! I laughed and cried and loved every single chapter. I don't think I can tell you what my favorite part or character was because the story kept me interested and smiling from beginning to end and each and every character was developed excellently! Even the dog was fleshed out so you know exactly where he came from and why he was loved so.

I really loved this Audiobook. It was delightful, poignant and fill with laughter. The way the family was betrayed was fantastic. A typical family filled with the fighting, laughter and obnoxious behavior.
Miss AILee is a new author for me, and now she has become a favorite of mine.
I recommend this book to all.
