Publisher's Summary

Kuroe Makoto, now known as Chaos to demons and Chloe Marcott to humans, never thought that in a fantasy world filled with sword and sorcery, she would attend school again.

Her fake human heart beats faster when she thinks of the fact that this is a magic school, the kind she has read about in so many stories. The prospect of learning spells and meeting new and interesting people has her unexpectedly looking forward to sitting in a classroom again, even when she could be out adventuring with her party of humans.

However, with every new adventure comes new dangers, new friends, and new enemies. Her enrollment at the Royal Academy in the capital city Kongenssoevn isn't as smooth as she would have liked, and many more surprises lie in store for her even on the very first day. Join Chaos as she attends a magic school where she makes new friends, uncovers a buried mystery, and discovers a threat that may completely change the course of her future.

The Demon Princess Magical Chaos series contains gore and explicit sexual content. It's intended for mature listeners.

loved it.

Loved it. descriptive as heck. In more ways than one lol. it goes more into detail on the adventure their schooling and does decently well on describing some of the more colorful classmates. only thing I can say bad about this book is that there were multiple times in it where audio seemed to double over/ repeat. definitely cannot wait for the audiobook for three and four and five and six to come along.

Even Better than the First

Katana Jones kicks ass. I want another volume!

The story gets a level up in humor, intrigue, and character this time. The voice acting of Jones gives character gets a unique voice and personality. Definitely give this a listen.

Surprising and Enjoyable

it's nice to actually get a better understanding of the magic system in this book's world. It's a bit disappointing that Chloe doesn't take her studies more seriously, though.

overall it was a very fun experience.

Great story and performance. Very bad editing.

The story is great and the narration is really good. But there are quite a few parts where the editors repeated the story. I got pretty annoying.

fantastic

this is a must get either by money or credit narration is awesome and the story is fantastic i will say this just because it will make the narration even better is do something different when she thinks to her self so we can tell the difference between her speaking to someone and her thinking to herself other then that fantastic 👏

Editing

So... while I enjoy these books, the editing needs reviewing and the writing is a bit repetitive. 3 iterations of repeated dialogue and gratuitously reused phrases/wording makes for immersion breaking at times.

That aside, it's a good ride.

Overall great listen

So I did enjoy the story. I especially enjoyed the growth in relationship between Hestia and our tentacled MC

However, there were a couple things that stood out. 1) a couple sections where text was repeated twice, and 2) the random change in POV at one point in the story.

4 glitches in the matrix

Bad editing gets 4 instances that break immersion throughout the story by loops in the recording causing narrative repeats.

Great story, great narration but... Editing?

Story was just as fun as the first, definitely worth a listen if you like the fun/harem/slight NSFW isekais.

The bad... The editing, there were probably 2 dozen repeated lines, like lines that were recorded 2 different times and they couldn't pick the best so... They left both in. It's not a deal breaker but like... Give me a free book and 20 bucks, I'll listen to the whole thing, and give you time stamps of the errors

Great writing, but somewhat lazy editing

This volume like the first is very well written, but the downside that I at least noticed with this volume of the story is that there were parts in the audio that should have been fixed or redone for better quality. The narration by the narrator is still great, but I just feel that there was hardly any post recording review put into this production and that lowers the quality of the product in my eyes. I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy the book, but those messed up audio parts did bug me quite a lot. I look forward greatly to the next volume in the story.
