Publisher's Summary

The New York Times best-selling author of the “swoonworthy and addicting” (Kim Karr, New York Times best-selling author) Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series is back with more bad boy bikers in this first novel in the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club series.

Erin Dawson had the perfect life growing up in a perfect home with a perfect family. Her parents gave her and her sister everything a child could want. But after learning that the man she’s called “dad” her whole life isn’t actually her biological father, Erin is determined to find the man who is.

Armed with her original birth certificate, she finds her father, but begins questioning if her mom had been right all along to keep this information buried. It turns out he is the president of a motorcycle club, which could not be further from the life Erin leads. But, she’s determined to get to know the man who she gets her striking blue eyes from. Despite getting what she wants and finding her biological father, it’s the slightly older, much rougher but incredibly sexy biker Ace who catches Erin’s eye.

As the new “princess” of the Cursed Ravens, Erin is learning a whole new world, but her father has made it clear she is off limits. Will Ace follow his president’s orders or will he put his heart ahead of his duty? A sizzling tale of family and passion, Ace of Hearts features Fernando’s signature “snark and sass” (Booklist) and is perfect for fans of Kristin Ashley.

Had so Much Potential

Narrator ruined it completely (again)!! I will never understand why Audible continues to give Lucy Rivers Male Parts, she really sucks at it!!!
I had stopped buying books with her because her male sounds like brain damage with a speech impediment!!! BUT.... I love Chanyal Fernando's Biker books (remember Wind Dragons) best alpha Bikers ever!!!! So I figured Why Not, maybe she has had some voice lessons.......... sadly NO. This book could be five stars but just too hard to listen!!!!
PLEASE CHANGE NARRATORS FOR UPCOMING BOOKS.

Good Story

Loved the story but the narrator was awful. I skipped a lot of parts due to this. Not sure if I like blurring the lines between the 2 MC's but, I will see once I read or listen on.

Narrator was awful!

I love the book. I loved case. Aaron was cute and sassy. But the narrator in the male characters was awful! This lady should never ever try and make male voices. She makes them sound stupid. Please Audible. No more. You ruined a good book!

narration

The story is great, but the cadence of the narration leaves alot to be desired. the performance would have been so much better with a different narrator.

MC Romance

Not the best MC romance I’ve read to date. It was just too soft to be very believable. Many of the characters lacked true depth making them pretty cookie cutter. I just couldn’t relate with them. Personally I prefer a novel that inspires real emotion with a intricately devised plot. This, book was kinda bland for me but if you enjoy a simple happy love story then this is probably your cup of tea.

Such a disappointment!

I've listened to Chantal Fernado's other books and they were well thought out. This one is like it was thrown together in the dark with no thought or purpose. And the narrator, Lucy Rivers! Ugh! It was so painful just listening to her act out the story. Fernando should never ever use her again. In fact, I will not listen to another book she reads. I wasted a credit on this book. So very disappointing!
Oh well....

This entire series was kinda just blah

No action and doesn't have much real passion. And I much prefer the male narrators to read the story and mix things up. A bit Boring really for MC books.

Story is good

Narrator should stop trying to do male voices. I had to stop many times to back up to figure out what character this was she was attempting to portray.

3 1/2 stars, overall

This audio has some good points and some, not so good. I enjoyed the overall plot. Adult girl finds out who her biological father is and decides to find him and get to know him. During the process, she meets the love of her life and lives HEA. Of course, there is a lot more that happens but I don’t want to spoil the book for you.
I did not like the narrator. Her male voices didn’t seem to fit the characters. In addition , the voice for the Heroine comes across as Whitney and childish; her specific lines don’t help. I also felt like the book stopped abruptly and the author tried to finish the story with a epilogue instead of letting the story progress naturally. I’m sorry to say that this is not one of the best books I have Read or listened to, from this author but it is an OK listen.
