Publisher's Summary

In the year 2035, humanity broke the dimensional barrier and attached its world to another.

Unfortunately, something was waiting on the other side. Nearly 150 years later, humanity is in a never-ending war to hold what is left of its world. Vic is a military asset for the United Forces of Humanity (UFH), and his job is to kill the Invader Orcs and their kin.

While on a mission, he is exposed to an advanced technology that grants him powers beyond anything he has known. How can he grow and use those powers to serve humanity and its hope to take back the world? Travel with Vic as he uncovers strange happenings throughout human cities, strengthens himself and his allies, and breaks rules set in place a century and a half ago. Watch as he allies himself with elves, dwarves, gnomes, and beastkin to battle the Invaders using a mix of ancient magic and futuristic technology.

convoluted garbage. save your credit.

atleast 70% of this book is spent in a damn hotel room. ye u read that right. before I bought this book I read a review stating that if you can get past the cave scene you would love this book. I'm sorry but the cave scene was the most interesting part of the book for me. from around chapter 30 to chapter 95(where I finally had enough and quit) the author painstakingly ties the mc to a hotel where he does literally nothing but hang out with an elven woman who is more than double his age, that he is clearly physically attracted to but treats her like a child.that in itself is surprisingly not my biggest issue with the book.
the MC is apparently this bad ass 6.5ft, muscle bound 24yo military goon who has killed over 100k people, every female he comes across thinks he is a "hottie", stare at his ass and want to sleep with him.but he is such a bad ass he is a virgin and avoids all their advances, then proceeds to cry like a baby when comming across enslaved people. the core of the story revolves around how mc has unlocked these amazing abilities that pretty much make him op as hell but all he can talk about is guns, guns, guns.

the dialogue between the lead charracters is extremely cringey and not the least bit relatable or realistic on any level. paired with the fact that the narrator puts little effort into defrentiating between the mc's voice and the "nano computer" in his head. you will often find yourself lost as to who is saying what. this was an utter and complete colossal waste of time for me. but hey if you're interested in hearing about what the mc has for breakfast lunch and supper every single damn day in the said hotel. the author makes a point of not missing meal time, gym time and bed time.
this has been a lesson in what the bottom twir of litrpg looks like.
