Normal thinking leads to normal results. For exceptional results, traders must think differently. This book will guide and inspire you in ways no other trading book has. It is not about strategies and money management. It is about mind management. Tom Hougaard provides a unique and refreshingly personal account of how an ordinary trader elevated his game to incredible heights by focusing as much on his mental approach as on his technical analysis. Best Loser Wins explains how you, by thinking differently when you are trading, can elevate your game from mediocre to excellent.

The Wyckoff Methodology in Depth: How to Trade Financial Markets Logically

Story
What is the Wyckoff Methodology? It is a technical analysis approach based on the study of supply and demand; that is, on the continuous interaction between buyers and sellers. The approach is simple: When well-informed traders want to buy or sell, they carry out processes that leave their traces on the chart through price and volume. The Wyckoff Methodology tries to identify that professional intervention to try to elucidate who is most likely to be in control of the market and enable us to pose judicious scenarios of where the price is most likely to go.

Publisher's Summary
This well-thought-out training regimen begins with an in-depth look at the necessary tools of the trade, including your scanner, software, and platform, and then moves to practical advice on subjects such as how to find the right stocks to trade, how to define support and resistance levels, and how to best manage your trades in the stress of the moment. An extensive review of proven trading strategies follows, all amply illustrated with real examples from recent trades.
Risk management is addressed, including tips on how to determine proper entry, profit targets, and stop losses. Lastly, to bring it all together, there’s a “behind the scenes” look at the author’s thought process as he walks you through a number of trades.

Great Sequel to "How to Day Trade for a Living"
If you liked Andrew's, "How to Day Trade for a Living", Advanced Techniques gives you a ton of examples of the strategies he lays out in his first book, but goes into greater detail of his analysis of the types of stocks he trades. No fluff or hype. The honest truth about how difficult day trading can be, from someone that actually trades for a living and didn't work in Wall Street, or a prop desk before starting trading on his own. He is the real deal and a relatable guy. This book is great for beginners and intermediate traders. As an added bonus, I really enjoyed Chris Abell's narration. Really top notch.

This is an amazing book.
I love how the author gives his most honest opinion on the realities of day trading. Andrew does not sugarcoat anything here. He is brutally honest about the difficulties that a newcomer will face with the learning curve. He gives thorough explanations on how to day trade. What you need for equipment and the all the tools you need to get started with.
The Bear Bull traders community is an awesome group of people dedicated to day trading and helping newcomers overcome the difficulties of starting in this profession. I highly recommend this book to anyone seriously interested in starting out as a day trader.
