Publisher's Summary

Aesop's Fables are stories based on analogies and caricatures featuring mostly animals. These stories got the collective name Aesop’s Fables from the person who collected the stories. Some stories are not suitable for young children.

Some of these traditional tales include animals eating other animals. In at least one, there is a gun. The moral of one story was, "Don't help mean or selfish people. The favour will not be returned. " The first couple of stories were fine. I did not consider the second two appropriate for my 5 year old grandson. I did not listen to the rest. I suggest listening to the stories before deciding whether or not to play them for younger children.
