About this listen
Many times infidelity is the death of a relationship - but an affair doesn't have to mean the end. Realistic ways of coping with pain, restoring self-esteem, and rebuilding trust and intimacy are available for the first time on audio in this guide by Dr. Janis Abrahms Spring.
Dr. Spring is one of the few clinical psychologists in the US who specializes in infidelity. She offers original and proven strategies to those seeking guidance, sympathy, and solutions, laying to rest blame and recrimination and focusing instead on recovery.

"...the most comprehensive and balanced book I have ever read on the subject. It is a 'must' for any couple who has experienced the violation of trust as a result of an affair." (Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., author of Getting the Love You Want)

I usually like to hear from the author, EXCEPT in cases like this :( She is very slow, and monotonous …. I experimented with playback speeds but it didn’t help … almost fell asleep several times.
However, stick it out ….
VERY VERY HELPFUL BOOK !!! A must read, if you , unfortunately have some experience in this area.
My condolences if you have , D
VERY helpful book !!

My husband is 80 and I am 78 but I just found out about his affair when he was in his late 40's. Let me tell you it hurts just as much as it was a lengthy affair.
I totally cannot accept any concept of forgiveness and will probably hate him till I die. I have never experienced such lies and deceit.
Dead on in so many instances.
