Good but...

I have read all the Liaden universe books and enjoy them. So thought I would try an audible version. Narrator is not great, especially female characters so this will be my only audible book in this series. Will stick to real books in future

Awesome Space Opera

A great novel, full of action, adventure, and the start of a romance. Scouts and mercenaries, criminal syndicates and space invasions, and giant talking turtles, oh my! This is one of several great entry points into Lee & Miller’s terrific and bestselling Liaden Universe series (which currently - 2018 - has 21 novels and three short story anthologies). #Audible1

Fantastic story

This is the first book in the Liaden Universe, one of my favourite series. Wonderfully vivid characters, and superb world building, with a touch of humour and romance. Highly recommended!
