Publisher's Summary

An incredibly thoughtful, disarmingly funny, and intensely vulnerable glimpse into the life and ministry of a woman familiar to many but known by few.

“It’s a peculiar thing, this having lived long enough to take a good look back. We go from knowing each other better than we know ourselves to barely sure if we know each other at all, to precisely sure that we don’t. All my knotted-up life I’ve longed for the sanity and simplicity of knowing who’s good and who’s bad. I’ve wanted to know this about myself as much as anyone. This was not theological. It was strictly relational. God could do what he wanted with eternity. I was just trying to make it here in the meantime. As benevolent as he has been in a myriad of ways, God has remained aloof on this uncomplicated request.”―Beth Moore

All My Knotted-Up Life is a beautifully crafted portrait of resilience and survival, a poignant reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness, and proof positive that if we ever truly took the time to hear people’s full stories . . . we’d all walk around slack-jawed.

Thank you for writing your memoir, and I have to say I’m sorry! because I didn’t understand the whole political thing, but now I do.

Life Changing!

Oh Beth … I’ve loved you in the Lord for years and have such great respect for you as a very gifted teacher and tender sister In Christ. Your life story has touched my heart in so many ways … words can not express my deep gratitude for you. Thank you for sharing the messy middle of your life; it was so encouraging for me to hear - a shot in the arm - reminder to keep the faith, no matter what. Holding onto Christ with you! ❤️

Brilliant

To be honest, I don't think I've listened to anything by Beth Moore until I heard her on a podcast with Preston Sprinkle, but I knew right away I HAD to listen to this book. It is brilliantly written. Her story is raw, honest, and relatable, and how she wrote about the horrific wrongs done to her (as a child and as an adult) wasn't overt or damaging to others. Facts were stated, and how SHE felt at those times in her life were delivered with grace and dignity. Well done! Thank you for so generously sharing your story of God's faithfulness with us..

Incredible

There is so much power in bringing the raw, unfiltered and often broken reality of our experiences into the light. Beth Moore is such a beautiful story teller, and so much of her journey touched places in my own. What a gift to laugh and cry and just plain resonate with a true sister in Christ. Despite the fact that I’ll never know Beth personally, I count it an absolute privilege to have been let in to each vulnerable part of her story. Highly recommend this book!

I laughed and cried all the way through

This audio book, read by the author, was so well done. I have done my share of Beth Moore studies and have always appreciated her. After listening to this book my respect and admiration for her has only grown. She gives all the glory to Jesus and it’s apparent through every chapter.

Perfect…

This is classic Beth Moore. A life story told with passion, grace, love, and care. How good it is to be reminded that faith, grace, love, and forgiveness are action verbs and accessible to, and for all, who dare to believe!

Amazing to hear her story!

I listened to the whole thing in one day!
So many people will gain from Beth’s vulnerability. No one gets to a place where she is as a gifted teacher without hardship. Our mess becomes our message and develops our character in ways we never would have chosen…but God walks through the storms with us and uses them to change us. Thank you Beth for sharing your pain and your heart. It is a gift to us.

Unexpected

Beth is a brilliant storyteller and this memoir is no exception. It was not the tidy tale I was anticipating though. It was beautifully authentic and messy and hopeful.
