Great Story!
I thought the story was really interesting and a little different than the usual apocalyptic theme. The voices were done well and athe storyline a pageturner. My big disappointment was the ending. It chops off suddenly without a decent wrap up and jumps to two months later. It seemed very hurriedly done like the author ran out of time.

EMP with a wealth of Drama
Its amazing how much this audiobook makes you realize how bad things could get and how people might act as something like this could happen. I could not stop listening till I was done with the book and wanting more! It reminds me of some of the best drama series that are on TV. I was given this audiobook review copy at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Not A Good Read
Just not a very good book. Outlandish plot, unlikable characters and so on. The probability of the airplane going down a few miles from where a family lived that the drug dealer had a previous relationship is right up there with winning the lottery. (This is where I'd put an eye rolling emoji if it was available.)

Sorta dark storyline
I’m a bit torn on this book, it wasn’t bad by any means, actually it was pretty good. What has me torn is the reactions to things or lack there of. Serious stuff happens and people just move past it or barely react to it. On the other hand it was a pretty original story line of the tried and true emp scenario. I’ll more than likely get the next book in the series. I was giving this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

I Love This Book
Jack Hunt's 'All That Remains' is one of the best books I've read in any genre. If you're like me and love a story with lots of action, suspense, thrills and drama, with emotional impact thrown in the mix, you couldn't choose a better book than this one. I was a recipient of a free review copy of this audiobook, which I requested, and am now leaving a voluntary opinion. Mr Hunt doesn't bog down the story with an overload of pre-EMP exposition. We get enough from a few scenes to get a sense of the characterizations before the event. The action gets going right away and doesn't stop. The story is told from multiple points of view, which enhance the dramatic narrative of the initial few days following the EMP. We follow these characters as they either sink to their baser instincts or rise above with courage and bravery. This book is written as the first chapter of a series. You definitely will want to continue to the next book right away. Of course, I cannot neglect the narration of the book. This is my first experience listening to Miles Meili and it will not be my last. His interpretation of Jack Hunt's excellently written words is outstanding. The voices are distinct and full of feeling. I felt almost like I was viewing a movie. The combo of Hunt's writing and Meili's narration had me vividly picturing the action. I am already planning to listen to more books from both artists. Very highly recommended.

Reasonably realistic
So far, this is one of the more realistic stories in this genre with contrivances more plausible than is often found in dystopian fiction. The characters are compelling and Miles Meili performs them well. This is obviously book 1 of a series with several significant loose ends left hanging, but there is an epilogue that keeps the story from ending in a true cliffhanger. NOTE: I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Buckle up!
All That Remains is the first book in a new survival series from Jack Hunt. While it hits many of the tropes you expect from the genre (telling the multiple-connected story lines), it's a tighter, more personal story than in other books I've read/listened to. None of the characters are what you'd categorize as diehard preppers, though a number of them are familiar with the concepts of survival. The book features an interesting cast and an exciting story, featuring a number of issues I haven't seen in other survival books. I look forward to seeing where the story goes from here. Miles Meili does a great job with the narration. I was given a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

An on the edge of your seat story!
I really enjoyed this book! The author did an excellent job bringing me into this story. I became fully invested in these characters. This is full of action, action, action! I never knew what was going to happen next! This is really an ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT story. This just amazes me what people do after a major event. How they act...I can’t believe that society governs those people that much to keep them inline but once things change all heck breaks loose. I have to mention how impressed I am by Beth. She is young physically but not mentally. She is fierce with her bow and arrow as well as other weapons. She goes through a lot in this story and seems stronger as she comes out the other side. i love that she has a dog in here too. He is like another character we grow to Love This is my first Jack Hunt book but it won’t be my last! This is my type of story! Murder, Mayhem, Suspense and Strong characters. I am starting the next one immediately! I did listen to this on audio. This is my first experience with Miles Meili. He did an amazing job on all the characters. He has good speed and articulates well. He helps make these characters come to life. PS...Great Cover!
