Publisher's Summary

Lara Jean's letter-writing days aren't over in this surprise follow-up to the best-selling To All the Boys I've Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You.

Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad's finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot's coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding. But change is looming on the horizon.

And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father's wedding, she can't ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains.

Now Lara Jean's the one who'll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family - and possibly the boy she loves - behind. When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

Different narrator was disappointing

Lauren Knight-Keating was the narrator of this one - the audible description is wrong. Different from the first two books, her voice significantly changed the characters, making them sound like 5 year olds. I almost had to stop listening because she made Lara-Jean sound so incredibly childish. It’s bad enough the author chose to have teen girls over the age of 17 calling their parents “mommy” and “daddy” and then talking about having sex in the very next sentence but hearing it in the little girl voice made it even more disturbing. All 3 stories were good but I hope girls today don’t actually follow boys around like lost puppies, excusing any/all terrible behavior. That was hard to listen to at times - have some self respect girls!! Don’t be a doormat!! Drinking half a cocktail shouldn’t make you throw up for 24 hrs straight either - I don’t care how much of a lightweight you are. Very exaggerated unrealistic situations. That said, the series was worth a listen overall and I can see why teen girls are drawn to these books.

Poor Narrator

While I enjoyed the series, and am a true fan of audiobooks through and through, I had a very hard time enjoying this one. The caption says it’s narrated by Ali Ahn, who breathed life into Han’s characters, but this book is not narrated by Ahn. And that kind of ruined the whole experience for me.

3rd book could have been better

The first 2 books you read really fast because they are so good. The third from the middle to the end I just wanted it to finish. All the wedding stiff is unnecessary and you see a spark of drama when they are at the beach and at the funeral with John Ambrose but nothing happens.

Why Change Narrarators?

The first two books were better. The change in Narrarators really through me off. Wished they'd have stuck with the same one throughout the series.

Cute read, not as good as book 2

This was a cute read. I didn't have all the feels like I did in the second book, but it was a good finale to the series and gave us some closure. Peter frustrated me in this book, although that isn't new lol. He just wants things to be a certain way and when they aren't, he gets moody and upset. I was so sad for Lara Jean that she was upset about college, but then a great opportunity came up and he wasn't happy for her. He can be really sweet and kind, but this just showed that not everyone is perfect.
The narrator for the audiobook was super cute and this was a quick read. I liked seeing the wrap up for Lara Jean and Peter and I hope someday we get a book about Kitty! She cracks me up and would be a fun character to see in her head.

I love everything about this story. Peter is so endearing. and I love that they have worked through all the troubles of a hard relationship. I will be listening to more Jenny Han stories in the future!
