I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. It had me laughing in parts. The narrator was good to listen to. In the previous books there was one where I couldn’t stand the narrator. I recommend the book.

An Inconvenient Beauty by Kristi Ann Hunter is a delightful and clean historical romance. The story is sweet, and the hero is absolutely swoon-worthy, making it easy to root for the romance.

The narration is okay, serviceable, but it doesn’t particularly stand out or add much to the experience. While it doesn’t detract from the story, it could have been stronger.

Overall, a lovely book for fans of clean, heartfelt romances.

I’ve read stories very similar to this one, sadly. Ms Hunter writes well but the near constant references to doing “what God wants” becomes very irritating, particularly in the last quarter of the book. I was disappointed.
