Publisher's Summary

Back in the devil’s lair, I’m at the mercy of a man who fascinates and terrifies me, a tender killer whose obsession with me is growing by the day. Nikolai Molotov is as much my captor as he is my protector, his compound both my safe haven and my gilded cage.

If only I could resist his lethally seductive touch...or fight his growing hold on my heart and mind. Because no matter how far I delve into the enigma of his past, I still don’t know the answer to the most crucial question:

Just how dangerous is his love for me?

Note: This is the conclusion of Nikolai and Chloe’s story.

freaking great

I loved this as much as the first book. The narration was perfection, the writing was great. I can't wait to hear more about the Molotovs and really want Elena (not sure how to spell her name, since this is the audio version) to be okay!

thank you

Would make a great movie.

The story was good, but the male narrator was terrible. That being said the story would make a great movie. I'm hoping there will be a book 3 just so I can find out what happened to the sister.

Okay

I liked the book at point it was frustrating and annoying but overall it was okay i did absolutely hate the ending though it left readers with so many questions and just like nothing was finished and like there needs to be a book 3

A total disappointment

I absolutely loved book 1 but unfortunately, book 2 ruined the entire duet for me. Chloe turned into this weak and pathetic little girl. She literally lost her whole identity by the end. It was difficult to finish. I have really enjoyed other books by this author but this one left me feeling annoyed.

Mixed Feelings

Zaires is a talented writer and I love her books...between this author, the top-notch narration team casted and the perfection of book one in this duet, my expectations for book two were a mile high. And maybe that’s part of the problem. This second installment simply didn’t hit the mark for me. The romantic development and overall relationship dynamic between the main characters stalled out and became somewhat awkward and severed for a large section of the story. Instead of building on the suspense and sizzling chemistry of the first book, things seemed to fizzle out. Also, while there were some sweet scenes with the son, I expected more progress and emotion from these interactions. Things finally picked up toward the end but the ending was abrupt and left me unfulfilled to an extent. I understand we will get to know more about this couple in future books centered around this family...I just like a little more closure when finishing a set of books on a particular relationship.

Wonderful conclusion!

Audiobook:   Narrators - Ava Erickson & Teddy Hamilton

Another superb performance!  Both Ms. Erickson and Mr. Hamilton showed so much depth of emotion as they portrayed this hero and heroine.  The angst, fear, desire was prevalent in their voices pulling me into the story on a level that I crave when listening to a book.

I loved the conclusion of Nikolai and Chloe’s story.  Nikolai is the type of hero I’ve come to expect from this author without crossing any lines that might be blurred due to his anti-hero status.  His gentle care and concern over Chloe totally stole my heart.  The fact that he was still very much the same man inside, one that wanted to consume her, made me grin.  That’s what I’m talking about in a hero!

Chloe struggled with her feelings for Nikolai.  Afterall, she’s very much aware that he can force her at any point to do as he wishes, although he never does.  The fact that he bowed to her wishes when they were bargaining during an important moment was proof that he was at heart a really good guy.

This was laced with drama, danger, and excitement from a few different points.  I loved each time Nikolai’s son was in the scene.  He was so sweet and charming, always causing me to smile and these narrators performed him perfectly each time.  With all the angst this story carried, it also burst with the chemistry between this hero and heroine.

MORE!

Again Anna has hit it out of the park. I love the rush the story has invoked as well as the calm, I have been on the edge of my seat with this one .Chole and Nikolai's growth and Salva this all made for an enthralling experience in their world. And I loved every sing second.

Was looking forward to this book.

I feel like the book was filled with slow moving parts and then it’s always rushed at the end when it’s getting good. I love the characters and the storyline but I just expected more like the first one.

Perfection ⭐️

So sad it’s over! This duet had a lot of the things I love in books. Over protective alpha, strong heroine despite her situation and likable secondary characters. Slava (not sure on spelling) was adorable. I looked forward to his scenes. The threat was one I didn’t see coming and I liked being surprised. The ending is explosive and it sets up a future couple. I am so excited for them and I have a feeling it will be just as good if not better than this one.

Narration was once again perfect! I got lost easily in the story.

Couldn’t Stop Listening!! ❤️🔥❤️

Finally!! The conclusion to Molotov’s Obsession. I was anxiously waiting for book two to find out what would happen with Nikolai and Chloe. The cliffhanger from book one was a bit shocking. Book 2 gives us everything we love in an Anna Zaires’ dark romance and more. This book was so good I could not put it down. I loved seeing a dark anti hero fall in love with not only the love of his life, but the surprise son he didn’t know about. I loved the relationship development between Slava and Nikolai. It was so endearing and made you fall more for NIikolai. The chemistry between Chloe and Nikolai was sooo HOT!! Super steamy, it just burned the pages. I was a bit sad it was only a duet, because Nikolai and Chloe have taken over my mind. I can’t stop thinking about them and I want more!! I am hoping to see glimpses of them in the next duet, especially with the setup of Alina’s story. I do hope we get to find out more about Alina’s fate. The narration was incredible! Both Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson were the best choice to bring Nikolai and Chloe to life. I love Teddy Hamilton *swoon* and he was the perfect Nikolai. These two are entertaining storytellers who make you fall in love with story and characters. I would definitely recommend this audiobook book, especially if you love dark, gripping romance. This book was not as dark as her previous ones, but definitely worth a listen.

I LOVE Anna Zaires.

Anna Zaires has quickly become my favorite author. I have read all the books with her as the lead title author. I quickly devoured this book as all the others and hope she will write Alina’s story soon.

Love this book

We get the see the relationship with the two MC develop more. While the female MC has her reservations about him, she views him as a devil, a captor, she also sees a side that draws her in and closer. He has feelings and urges toward her that are completely foreign to him and confuses him. Yet he can't stop. He will claim her as his.... forever. Even if she isn't willing or ready. He ends up saving her in more ways then one. She grows to truly love him and they become a family in every sense of the word. The ending is set up for another book, not their story but more of his family. So hopefully we will see more of them in the future books.

Even the Devil👿 needs an Angel👼

Absolutely had me from start to finish. I devoured both Devil's Lair & Angel's Cage back to back, and in less than 24 hours. Who needs sleep???

Teddy Hamilton & Ava Erickson were perfectly paired as Nikoli & Chloe. It is hard to imagine anyone else bringing Anna Zaires words to life like they did.

Cannot wait for the next story in the Molotov Family Saga. Really, I am unsure of what to listen to next. Please write & record ASAP. I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms.

This diet has it all...Murder, Love, Heartache, Joy, Intrigue, War, Dirty Politician's, Obsession & Passion.

Enjoy!!!
