A pleasant Read
I became an admirer of Lugy Maud Montgomery's stories about Anne of Green Gables when I realized they were written to describe the same years that my beloved Mother was of the same age. The very descriptive words sent me back in time to understand the romance of her era. Now I am nearing the age of when she fell asleep in death, and listening to this book "Anne"s. House of Dreams" giave me such comfort and distracted me from the turmoil of the world now.

Narrator needs some emotion.
One of my favorites! But the narrator reads so flat without any inflection. Kinda annoying.

Excellently read by Karen Savage
Very lovely story of Anne and Gilbert’s early married life. The characters in this book seem more complex and interesting than in the previous stories.

Love this sweet story and wonder narrator
I found this narrator (Karen Savage, I believe) originally when I used to listen to books in the public domain that were read by volunteers. I loved her style and she was perfect to read the books of Anne and her adventures and dramas. I was so pleased to see that she was on audiobooks and immediately wanted to buy this volume!
Anne suffered in this book like I have suffered three times and the beach is very healing to me. So I love reading this book and feeling my feelings with Anne. Great story that I come back to again and again.

perfect Narrator for a perfect story
I'm so thankful for good, pure, sweet, holy, and funny stories. I love Lucy Maud Montgomery for giving us something so beautiful in an ever crumbling world who takes the sacred out of everything it can.

Lovely
This story was so wonderful. And the narrators voice was so nice and calming. Just what I needed to be able to picture all the characters and the setting.
