Publisher's Summary

"Euan Morton returns to narrate the final installment in the Simon Snow series. Morton's exceptional talent shines as he modulates between European and American accents and seamlessly shifts tones to bring each distinct character to life...Full of intense passion, this conclusion should not be missed." -AudioFile Magazine, Earphones Award winner

New York Times bestselling author Rainbow Rowell's epic fantasy, the Simon Snow trilogy, concludes with Any Way the Wind Blows.

In Carry On, Simon Snow and his friends realized that everything they thought they understood about the world might be wrong. And in Wayward Son, they wondered whether everything they understood about themselves might be wrong.

In Any Way the Wind Blows, Simon and Baz and Penelope and Agatha have to decide how to move forward.

For Simon, that means deciding whether he still wants to be part of the World of Mages — and if he doesn't, what does that mean for his relationship with Baz? Meanwhile Baz is bouncing between two family crises and not finding any time to talk to anyone about his newfound vampire knowledge. Penelope would love to help, but she's smuggled an American Normal into London, and now she isn't sure what to do with him. And Agatha? Well, Agatha Wellbelove has had enough.

Any Way the Wind Blows takes the gang back to England, back to Watford, and back to their families for their longest and most emotionally wrenching adventure yet.

This audiobook is a finale. It tells secrets and answers questions and lays ghosts to rest.

Carry On was conceived as a book about Chosen One stories; Any Way the Wind Blows is an ending about endings. About catharsis and closure, and how we choose to move on from the traumas and triumphs that try to define us.

such a good book wow

I think Baz and Simon really blossomed (finally) and we got what we had hoped for in the second book in this one with their romance! I think all three books in the series were strong but this and the first book had the most "can't put this down" way to them.
I truly hope Rowell decides to continue on with Simon's story, I just love everything about it!

The narrator was amazing, different voices for every character and his womens voices were quite funny. I had a laugh at the beginning until I got used to them.

great listen

I loved this trilogy! awesome narration! I wish we could have explored Agatha's story more but I guess the book would have been too long

A great way to end a series

We finally got the romance I've been dying for since book one, and it was cute and exactly what I wanted from our boys. The plot was a little wonky in places but I enjoyed it none the less.

Performance wise, it was top notch.

The story was predictable in some places and I honestly don't quite care about Agatha's part in the story whatsoever but it was a fun ride all the same.

I will miss these guys!

Already the end! I would've taken a whole other book!

Part of me thinks the whole ending feels a bit rushed, yet... Another feels just right.

This whole trilogy was such a fun ride, really.

A beautiful ending to a compelling trilogy

This amazing book didn't leave me hanging, but it did leave me wanting more from the same author/setting. It was an endearing and fun ride, and I will look forward to more books from this author!

It was an okay read...

I loved the first 2 books in this trilogy because of the character development, world building, and general awesomeness of Rainbow Rowell’s writing. This last book just didn’t get there. It was an okay read but nothing great and definitely not as good as the first 2 in the series.

Missed The Mark

It's really hard to say goodbye in an ending story, but I just find this goodbye misses the mark entirely. I did not have any invested interest in the main story of this book. Anytime the story moved away from Simon and Baz it strained. Which is why ending their story with a time skip to another character just chilling on their own, felt like a slap to the face. Instead of talking about the future for a last novel, I really wanted to see it. See Simon and Baz in their new adult roles. Especially after Simon's revelations near the end. This felt like a transitional novel, not an ending to a trilogy.
