Publisher's Summary
Our heroes have gone their separate ways in an effort to save Trip and unify their fight against the Overseers, who have an evil plot to take over not only this world, but all worlds. Mike asks for and receives help, but not in any way he could have prepared for, as Jack finds himself in the uncomfortable position of filling Otter’s shoes. Can Jack and Mike find a way to destroy the evil that has been unwittingly unleashed or will they succumb like every other civilization the enemy has encountered?

liked but not loved
Asabron felt very much like a filler book. you learn some stuff but its main goal is just to push the story forward. still love Mike and Jack, with their witty bantering. B.T. is a nice addition to the group, even if it's not the B.T. we are all use to in the zombie fallout books! over all it's a fun book but easily skippable in the series!

Falling out of love
Are used to love everything Mark wrote. Not so much the last two books I’ve listen to. Mostly seem to be sort of tossed together. Lots of gory fighting scenes not much interesting dialogue and slips in the details. Sort of like when you watch a movie and someone is has a skill and then all of a sudden they don’t have a skill. That’s what happened here. The demon calendar had the skill to shrink, and now he doesn’t at the end of the story when they need him to fit into the helicopter he can’t fit in anymore. Did something happen somewhere that I missed? I don’t know ,I just really feel that I’m sort of getting gypped on this series.

A story like no other!
Once again , they knocked it out of the park. I will admit that the Mark Tufo parts are my favorite, John O’Brien is just a bit dry for me, hence 4 stars overall. Absolutely none of it isn’t great though. If you want a truly unique story, that travels through times and dimensions with true terror, and plenty of sarcastic wit, this is it. You will not be bored!

Lots of Description
If you like the series so far then Asabron won’t detour you from continuing. You learn a lot. However, this story could have been shortened by a couple chapters of lengthy descriptions if scenarios were shortened to a couple paragraphs verses chapters. But, being a new fan of Mark Tufo and all his series, you will not be disappointed. This book does give more clues on what is happening and why. It will definitely make you want to move to the next one in this series. So please, carry onto the next one, I am!
