Publisher's Summary

The third book in the Juniper Grove Mystery series!

Thanksgiving in Juniper Grove is a time for family, good friends, and good food. But at Nora Barberton’s home, Thanksgiving ends in tragedy when one of her dinner guests is murdered and a precious artifact disappears from her house - seemingly vanishing into thin air.

When Nora pleads for help, Rachel agrees to tackle the case. Soon she uncovers a web of deception woven by those Nora trusts most. In a race against time, and as her relationship with James Gilroy, the town’s police chief, takes a surprising turn, Rachel must solve the mystery before the killer strikes again.

This light, cozy mystery offers a clean read with a female amateur sleuth in a small-town setting. No foul language, sex, gore, or graphic scenes of any kind.

Great story, really good narrator

I've listened to all 3 books in this series. The stories are consistently very good. I like that that we get to see how a certain relationship evolves. And I appreciate that the reader/listener is privy to how the Juniper Lane detectives work their different hypothesis of "who dunnit" as the story evovles. As opposed to having no indication of who might be the guilty person then bang, a grande finale at the end of the story with explanations that the average reader would not be aware of. The narrator has really improved by this 3rd book. She is adding much more emotion than in book 1. Now it sounds more like she is telling a story than reading words from a page. And she is very good at using different voices to portray each character. I'm on to book 4 now!
