enthralling

as per usual, the story was well written, pulled me in and held me tight, well past bedtime. it took a bit of adjustment with the new female narrator, but she was flawless, and kept thhe story at the calibre i have come to expect from this author. the mad skills of satisfactorily ending a story in what seems like not enough time to do so, while nicely setting up for the next installment, continues to amaze me.

i look forward to the next book, and am off to reread this one immediately.
