Today, most doctors, dietitians, and even diabetes specialists consider type 2 diabetes to be a chronic and progressive disease - a life sentence with no possibility of parole. But the truth, as Dr. Fung reveals in this paradigm-shifting book, is that type 2 diabetes is reversible. Writing with clear, persuasive language, he explains why conventional treatments that rely on insulin or other blood-glucose-lowering drugs can actually exacerbate the problem, leading to significant weight gain and even heart disease.

Who wrote this?
I have already left a positive review because this book seems to cover all aspects of fasting, answering so many questions - serves as a quick-reference manual. But! then I saw a short review ‘Don’t Waste Your Time’ in which he points ot that the names of the authors, Jason
Berg & Eric Fung, resemble names of famous Doctors. This person realized we are meant to assume the authors are actually Eric Berg & Jason Fung - the first names are transposed so we assume the famous two. Nowhere in the book are the actual author(s) listed. Book is narrated by Craig Munns - but he is not the author. So, this book is a ‘swizz’. Not sure if this negates the information - but it is a rip-off.

Do NOT waste your time .
There are so many better fasting books out there! The "author's" names are suspiciously similar to two real experts in the field. This book book tries to mask the poor grammar and syntaxes by sprinkling in excessively technical jargon. Many ideas are poorly executed or not completed and have the feeling of one big rough draft that no one completed.
I have never left a negative review on Audible, but I am hoping others see this and LOOK ELSEWHERE for a decent fasting book.
