Publisher's Summary
College was supposed to be all about booze and boys. For Zoe Lake, though, it's all about monsters and mayhem.
An incoming freshman at Covenant College, Zoe is excited to meet her roommates and attend classes. There's only one problem: Covenant College isn't all it's purported to be.
First off, there are attractive - yet mysterious - men skulking around every corner. Then there's that persistent professor that thinks he knows some secret about her past that even she isn't aware exists.
Then there are the rumors. You know the ones. The ones that say Covenant College is home to more than just humans - but vampires and werewolves, too.
Not only is Zoe going to find herself in the middle of madness - but she's going to have to try and pass finals while she endeavors to solve the mystery of what a monster really is.
Note: These books are full of sarcasm and are a little bit snarky - so listen only if you like to laugh and like your paranormal with a little bit of fun. This is the first book in the Covenant College young adult series.

Interesting series but Narrator Sucked!
Any additional comments?
I like the idea and setting for this interesting new series even though it took a while to get to the point. I wasn't sure where the plot was heading until way past the halfway mark. But still it was a good start. I would have liked this book a lot more except for the whiny, nasally voices the narrator had for all the characters. I winced so many times throughout this book that it was almost impossible to finish. What should have sounded snarky came across as whiny. She made the heroine sound spoiled and bratty rather than strong willed. I'll continue the series but switch to the e-book instead.

Chapter 1.
I understand this book is the first in the series. It was a great introduction to all the characters and story. Loved the story. But that's it! It leave way too much to be explain in the later books. After finishing the book. I feel like I just finished the first chapter.

waste of time
I hated the performance. I hated the main character. She is absolutely hateful. The story was "jumpy" and left too many unanswered questions.

"You're such a terrible liar, you know it's true!"
Vampires, werewolves, witches...oh my.
If you're looking for a great series to grow under your skin like ulcerative flesh, this just might be for you.

Vamps and weres
This was a fun book to read. It was difficult for me to listen to the angry screaming voices, but the book itself was good.

First in series
I won this book in a giveaway and I wasn't sure what to expect. I have read some of Amanda other series and this one didn't disappoint. I love the main character Zoe's fearless attitude. I can't wait to read more to see how Zoe's awakening to the supernatural progresses.

Buffy snark
Entertaining, snarky dialogue reminiscent of Buffy delivered by a great voice artist! The story meanders a lot, not much to hold your interest other than the witty delivery.

The best book I've read or heard from Amanda M Lee
I couldn't put it down... The characters seemed very real. The person narrating did not do the other characters voices very well but it was a very good book.... I am going to get the rest of the series!
