Clear and concise
Instead of reading, I listened to this book on audible. It’s a quick listen at just over an hour, yet it is packed with basic info for the beginner. I’ll definitely be referring back to it. It also comes with a set of diy coop plans to download.

Useful Information
I learned a lot of useful information listening to this book. Except for a semi-robotic narration, I found it very helpful.

What da!?
This woman does not provide essentials for raising chickens. She instructs you to decorate the inside of your chicken coop to make it more aesthetic.

very light on logistics; kind of dumb
Would you be willing to try another one of Angel Clark’s performances?
def no
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
some basic info
Any additional comments?
Light on details, long on fluff. Narration is among worst I've heard, utterly robotic.

For someone who has done no prior research...
Positives: Quick and pleasurable listen. Basic information you will need if your just considering backyard chickens. Low cost buy. Useful tips.
Cons: I found the information a little too basic. True it does say for beginners and that I am but I have done a little research, read several articles and asked a few friends about their experiences so there wasn't much in this that was new info to me. If you are just starting to consider chickens then I'm sure it will be a good introduction for you and get you started on deeper research but honestly most of this information can be found for free in magazine or online articles. *wouldn't use a credit on it.
