Publisher's Summary

Twelve humans are left stranded on a wintry alien planet. I'm one of them. Yay, me. In order to survive, we have to take on a symbiont that wants to rewire our bodies to live in this brutal place. I like to call it a cootie. And my cootie's a jerk, because it also thinks I'm the mate to the biggest, surliest alien of the group.

Contains mature themes.

Fun!

I really like this series, I love the humour and the world building. I didn't like the main girl as much as the one in the first book but I enjoyed the story nonetheless.

Also, english is not my first language and the voice acting is very clear and well performed. I understood everything :)

I recommand!

Hot, spicy and made me cry

Loved this one. Raahosh is a mean ol'grizzly on the outside, but a sweet teddy bear inside. And so lovable. Liz really grew on me too. She's a spitfire and their relationship developed great throughout the story. I read the book, have listened again and again to the audio. Seriously it's a fun story, a great read and enjoyable to revisit. Liz×Raahosh are pure 🔥

She's so unnecessarily harsh

A bit self-centred, but I guess everyone copes in their own way. Sure, Liz warms up later but I still find her tactless. She runs her mouth, often in slang that only English speaking humans would understand and doesn't remember even half the rude things she says. She also ponders that she didn't even think about Rohosh's family before having left the cave and talking to someone else about the tribe but Liz and Rohosh had a conversation about it chapters earlier. Is that how little she pays attention to her own words?

Other than Liz getting on my nerves, Rohosh is great (even though he made some mistakes out of fear) and the overall story is good.

Audio quality

Those only thing I didn't like was the audio quality for the female narrators was muffled compared to the male narrator. I couldn't get past it

feisty fire and stoic seriousness

are always a great combination this is a fun time she's angry and she's is so much slang the poor man doesn't stand a chance.
this is a really good time I think this one's actually better than the first book was in the series which gives me a lot of Hope for the next few I would definitely recommend this it's a fun time.

I did not expect all the humor

This was so much fun to listen to. The humor was unexpected but amazing. The spice was good and the story enjoyable. I did not expect to love it as much as I did!

Cute and spicy

These books are known for 2 things being light hearted & spicy and this book doesn’t disappoint.

So he stole her and kinda forced her to take a parasite (she would have died in a few days if not). She was experienced in the furs and he wasn’t but they learned what each other
Liked.

The tribe tried to kick him out but the mate bond can’t be denied.

She was kinda kick ass with her hunting skills and will help change the role women play in the tribe from here on.
