Anna McNuff had never run a mile without shoes on before. And yet, one British summer, she set off to run a (very) wiggly route from the Shetland Islands to London–on a mission to cover the distance of 100 marathons…in bare feet.

More satisfying than a sausage roll and strawberry milkshake!

Like all of McNuffs books I was sad when it was over. Inspiring, silly and real. Easy listening, positive vibe that just gets me wondering about my own pending adventures…little and big it’s all the same feels! Just adore Anna’s books.

Another great adventure story by Anna McNuff

I love Anna’s books so much. This is the 4th one I’ve listened to. I love how she stopped to speak to young girls along the way and how many strangers offered to support her. I also love how she reflects on how her adventure brought people together and inspired many people to dig deep and go places they’d never gone before - physically and mentally. Many chapters end with a fabulous quote. Some of which I may just have to print off and mount to my wall.
