In Battle for the Woodlands, Walde and the other Reachers struggle to restore one of the last great Mothertrees, their only link to the being deep in the earth, while enemies range against them. A great conclusion to a great story!

It's difficult to write a review for this book without giving away spoilers. I would bet that if you're reading through the reviews you probably read the first book and liked it. Now you want to know if the second book is worth the read. IT UNQUESTIONABLY IS! Dig in, for you're about to encounter a book you might just read/listened to in one sitting. I pretty much ended up doing that. The ending was also extraordinary
