It wasn’t an overly engaging, or exiting story, but it’s well written and is worth a listen if you like Star Wars stories that do not contain force users.

I found the story hard to follow with so many characters I had never heard of and never will again, especially in the beginning. Perhaps it’s just that I retain information poorly when listening and need to see the words/names to properly make sense of everything.

I really like Jonathan Davis as a narrator. He reads well and has a variety of voices with clear distinctions between them.

The Book is a great time if you're looking to learn about the in the trenches style of star wars but for me personally this was a bit too slow and dry. the performance was outstanding and what was keeping me going through it all, if you're a star wars fan give it a go and see for yourself how it is
