Delightfully Soothing

Delightful bedtime stories for anyone, adult or child!

These classic tales are the perfect soothing sounds for relaxing, with all your favourites included - will Hunca Munca make amends to Lucinda and Jane? Will Mr. Jeremy Fisher catch enough for dinner?

Calming and chill, perfect for reminiscing and winding down after a long day, or play it for the wee ones at nap time.

Beatrix Potter Beautifully Brought to Life

Beautiful rendition of Potter's tales. Music was glorious & a wonderful addition. The children, and I were most certainly delighted. The narrators did an excellent job and of course had the proper English voices to read such tales. A treasure to be had by those both great in age who wish to re-enter a golden age of children's literature and those young readers who need to have such fruit to nourish their budding souls. A must for your audio collection to be sure.

lovely nostalgic

What did you love best about Beatrix Potter: The Complete Tales?

I love the narration. So soothing and lovely to listen to. And the stories and just wonderful classics. It is soothing for my toddler to listen to before naptime, during nursing, and in the car.

Great book!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Beatrix Potter: The Complete Tales to be better than the print version?

Probably. The audio edition has musical and sound effects that makes it more fun to listen to. My toddler son loves to listen to this book. Whenever he's in the car I would ask him whether he likes to listen to music or story and his reply has always been "rabbit story". I have tried to play other books in the car but he would scream and wanted to hear this book instead.

Thoroughly Classic

You can't get children's stories more idyllic than these. Delightful narratives read and musically accompanied, you won't regret this purchase at all.

Beautifully read!

Beautifully read with gentle introductory music for the different chapters. The only thing I don't like is that there aren't chapter names, so you don't know which story it is until it starts playing.

Fun to listen to with my daughter

If you could sum up Beatrix Potter: The Complete Tales in three words, what would they be?

Charming
Exciting
Moving

What other book might you compare Beatrix Potter: The Complete Tales to and why?

Winnie the Pooh: Pooh Goes Visiting

Any additional comments?

I got this book to listen to with my daughter in the car. I think I enjoyed it more than she did.

A classic that feels a little outdated

My 4 year old enjoyed it but there were many anachronisms so I don't know how he followed. Many of the stories are kind of wandering and can get a bit boring.

🥰

I love this it’s so cute. I love the author, narrator and story. Though I don’t listen to it anymore, I still love these stories. Btw these audiobooks are for about 4-8 years! 🥰

questionable content

Some parts of the story are not appropriate for children. The story is outdated and mentions a lot of things that aren't suitable for kids to hear or learn about.
