I fell in love with the series and thoroughly enjoyed all the books and was expecting so much more for Jensen and Pipa’s story. The story line felt very one sided and lacked a lot of development on Jensen’s side. Most of the love scenes where centred around Pipa’s point of view and barely any dialogue between the two as we were used to see with other books in the series. It was very difficult to connect to Jensen’s character for this reason. On a positive note: it was exciting to find the epilogues to the first books at the end of this book and see what the gang was up too. I was ready to put the book away and classify it as a DNF but the Epilogues made up for the lack of excitement and feel of the book.

This was okay but failed to live up to the previous three books in this series. I had the audiobook and really didn’t love the accent the narrator did for the FC. I would happily read the rest of this series again, but not this one.
