In the beautiful series I enjoyed this one the least. I found the story line wasn’t very captivating & there was very little character development. Wasn’t worth reading/listening to

Generally speaking, I enjoy the work of Christina Lauren. As long as one keeps in mind this is a fictional world and not a real life work place, the book is quite entertaining. Oh, umm....also he is a 'bastard'...in regards to how he behaves. At times his lack of awareness is presented as endearing. However, I enjoy female characters that have intelligence and spark 'pushing back' in a difficult world. The writing duo have written one of my favourite books so I have high expectations for this series. Hopefully, the rest of the series will live up to, at least, this first book or improve as it progresses. *UPDATE: I got to, "Beautiful Bombshell", and it was complete drivel...so disappointing. They have the potential to create something so much better....with more emotional / ethical depth.

Loved this book. It got me hooked on the series and the authors did not disappoint. Sexy, charming and very entertaining. I could barely put it down. I was surprised at how many amazing sex scenes this book contained whilst managing to deliver an engrossing story and good character development. The narrator was excellent and her voice suited the character beautifully. A must read.

Very fun and easy romance book. It was a nice fluff book. All I wanted was a simple girly fluffy book. The main characters had enough sass to keep the book fun and uplifting.
