Publisher's Summary

The ninth work in the New York Times and number one internationally best-selling series that started with Beautiful Bastard. In this novella, Will Sumner and Hanna Bergstrom (from Beautiful Player) find that a wedding and everlasting love were just the beginning.

One Player tamed. One nerd girl satisfied. And one more major life decision to make.

When Will fell for Hanna, her quirky sense of humor and fierce dedication to her career were part of the attraction. (Not to mention her coy newbie attitude toward sex and her willingness to let him teach her everything.) But when the job offers start rolling in for her - and oh, they do - Hanna has trouble deciding what she wants, where they should live, and how much she should burden Will with the decision.

Magic between the sheets is only one part of a relationship...getting on the same page is quite another altogether.

Classic Christina Lauren

Awesome. Funny. Hot. Believable. Smart.

Check back in with beautiful residents of NYC. You won't regret it.

My only complaint: too short. : )

They never fail!

This writing team never fail to produce stories filled with smart humor, great characters and steamy but loving relationship that you always want more of. And although I love all of their couples, Hahna and Will are hands down my favorite. The first part of their story was so brilliantly funny that I think I have listened to it four of five times. This little addition was great. My only complaint, and it is just me being selfish, is that it was just to short. I could always use more of all their characters. I hope we get a little more of them in the future.

Loved!

What does Grace Grant and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They are the perfect voices for these characters. You like the characters even better after hearing these 2.

Any additional comments?

This book only works if you've read Beautiful Player but it was a fun little follow up to the story. I enjoyed every minute of it. I wish it could have been a little longer but that's just because I love the characters so much. As usual Sebastian York was perfect perfect perfect as the voice of Will.

I LOVE WILL SUMNER!

I loved it but it left me wanting so much more! I can never get enough of Will. Max and Bennet aren't too bad either!

Will and Hannah Are Back!!

Short story, but still as good as the rest. Maybe not worth a full credit because it is so short, but if you are a fan of the series, then it is worth it to hear Sebastian York's voice ;)

Will and Hanna Fun

I love Will and Hanna. You see them get married in this one, though I would have liked a bit more showing not telling one that one. You see them get into their first real argument, as Hanna conders with college to work for - with this I though the problem was build up way too much considering how quickly it resolved. And it falls into that category of "just talk to each other already" which is very prevalent in romance

But their wonderful quirky chemistry and hot smut shines through and made this into a wonderful, if short, experience to me

Sebastian York embodies the male characters in this series so well, as does Grace Grant for the women

I wanted more

I LOVED Beautiful Player. There was something about Sebastian York's narration in that one, that just came through the earbuds. You felt the longing in his voice, in a way I've not heard in his other narrations. It really made that one stand out for me. So I really came to love Will and Hanna.
I was excited to see this follow up, even if it was as short novella. It was awesome to be able to see their wedding, and what they were doing after the events of Beautiful Player.
However, the narration doesn't flow. The quiet longing in Will's voice is substituted with normal narration, even Grace Grant's doesn't flow as well, her tone of her sisters voice is totally different than the first book. I know these seem like small things, but when you know one book so well audibly, you really notice it on the follow up.
That said, it was fun to meet with these characters again, but I would have like to have more time with them.

Yep

I love how Will reads Hanna’s voice. Cracks me up. Missed Grace! Separation anxiety is kicking up due to knowing I’m almost done with the series. On to the next!
