Wonderful thriller
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Great narration and a few twists. The pacing is just right, the writing is superb, the characters are well developed, especially the main protagonist. The only thing that I would change is for this story to be slightly shorter. Overall very good. Highly recommend!

Good suspense thriller from beginning to the end.
What made the experience of listening to Because She Loves Me the most enjoyable?
I couldn't quit listening because I wanted to know what came next. Good character development and writing. Totally enjoyed it, and was surprised by the ending.
What other book might you compare Because She Loves Me to and why?
Gone girl by Gillian Flynn. Because it was a twisty suspense about love gone bad that had you going right up to the end. The ending was unexpected. Some of the characters you loved and hated, then your perception of them later changed. People can be creepy and real psychotic. It also reminded me a little of Stephen King.
Which scene was your favorite?
Can't really say one scene/part stood out. I liked the whole book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. But it took me two days not one. I alternately read the book, and listened to the audible version when I couldn't sit and read.
Any additional comments?
New author for me. I really enjoyed it. He is a good writer with good character development, and a good story. I like a good suspense thriller, and I look forward to reading/listening to more of his books. The author has a great imagination and had written the book on similar things that happened to him.

Slow Pace, Annoying Female Characters
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I can't say, really. I didn't finish the book, as it was going at such a slow pace and the writing was so mediocre. The narration of females was so jarring I had to grit my teeth to get though it. Not worth the credit.
What was most disappointing about Mark Edwards’s story?
The mediocre writing.
What didn’t you like about Napoleon Ryan’s performance?
He didn't narrate women well at all, he made them sound daft and pathetic.
What character would you cut from Because She Loves Me?
All of them.
Any additional comments?
Not worth the credit.

One of The Most Boring Books Ever!
Nothing happens in this book! Nothing. The story rambles on & on with some twists & turns that end up at dead ends over & over again. Absolutely boring and a waste of money & time. Do not waste your credit or your money.

Entertaining Distraction
Despite the somewhat clichéd storyline, I really enjoyed this book!
There is only so much you can do with a psycho-girlfriend plot, and I can’t say that this author came up with any new twists in the genre, but nevertheless I was kept guessing.
It was a satisfying and entertaining distraction.

Adolescent prose
This author needs to take a creative writing course. I can't judge the story as I couldn't get beyond the first 90 pedestrian minutes.

Entertaining.!
I couldn't stop listening, even thou I wanted too. The story was good but the constant self talk and analyzing by the main character was exhausting! I needed to take breaks because the constant internal dialog from the main character was way too much. Overall it was a good story and did not see the end coming. Will download another from this author. Narration was on point👌

NOT A BAD THRILLER
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
yes, I think so. It was one of those borderline books that I'm not too sure about. Did I love it or hate it ? At times I felt both emotions. It was really over the top and very far fetched, but the entertainment value was definitely there and finally, as far as I was concerned, this won out in the end.
Have you listened to any of Napoleon Ryan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not bad, he was very good with male voices, but not so much with the female ones; he made them all sound a bit daffy, but, then, I guess, they all sort of were.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed the twists and turns and didn't see the final denouement coming. It arrived out of the blue, as if it came to the writer at the last minute and he decided to change the ending. There were no clues in the book up until then that this coup de grâce was likely to occur, and personally I felt it didn't fit.

A bit predictable with a twist
This author's stories seem to involve the same man, same personality, always betrayed by s woman. Still good yarns. This one was predictable....until the twist.

Captivated for the first 90% and then lost me
I loved this book until the last 10 percent. This story had a constant rhythm and build and then in the final chapters it took a series of wrong turns that just didn't fit. Very disappointed and I do not recommend.
