It's a great audiobook for people.

It's a great audiobook for people like me who has no time to go out for the gym. Various explanations of our eating habits are provided for the listener to understand what is a reason for one. Emphasis is given on psychology and diet. I personally follow some tips, and evidently, it works. I have gifted the printed book for my friend too.

Easy to follow and understand.

This audiobook should have been my health group textbook. It has everything I need to stay fit. Eating healthy, exercising and your HABITS (probably you do not notice them) are the three ways one can lose weight. If only using one of the three, the dieting won't work. Fitness is a goal everyone should have. A. Hodge created a perfect guide book. These pages are well-organized and well-researched. Need motivation? That too is covered in this How to Become and Stay Fit Forever. I was genuinely amazed at how much content was provided in this short audiobook. I definitely needed to listen to it. Easy to follow and understand. For those serious about their health, I highly recommend How to Become and Stay Fit Forever.

This is a useful audiobook!

This is a useful audiobook! Especially for me. Suddenly everything fell into place and made sense after years of weight issues and eating behavior struggling. The book is built on the combination of scientific research, and life observations. It is beneficial in understanding the cause of food-related issues a lot of people have to deal with every day.
Furthermore, the audiobook provides a solution, the way to implement it. Excellent and practical, thank you!

Great audiobook.

My husband found this as an audiobook, and we decided we needed a printed copy to reference the information better. This is extremely helpful to re-learn how to think about food. We are a food-obsessed culture, and it's showing in our pants sizes. "Re-wiring" our brains to think about food healthily is the natural way to weight loss, not fad diets or starving sessions. Stop the addiction to food, and you stop the yo-yo dieting. It's a hard road, and we are only just beginning, but at the end, I think we'll truly be free to live the lives we've always wanted and not worry about expanding waist-lines.

It is very insightful and has helped me a lot.

This is a well thought out audiobook, and it is evident that a tremendous amount of research has been done into why people continue with the dieting spiral. I found myself nodding and agreeing with points like:
Food addiction/cravings - when we know what to eat but end up eating the wrong food anyway.
It addresses why we gain the weight we lose; this book shows us how to use our mind to think in a way that is beneficial to us.
It was interesting to read that many diseases associated with obesity could be controlled by diet alone, imagine the unnecessary side effects. How to manage forbidden foods, why have them?
I thoroughly enjoyed the "Become and Stay Fit Forever," it is very insightful and has helped me a lot.

Excellent book.

This is great listening for anyone who has struggled with "yo-yo dieting." I am happy I listened to this book. The book does go into detail about emotional eating. I've learned that while dieting, I was thinking about food so much (planning meals, what not to eat, imagining what I'd like to eat...). So my brain got in the habit of thinking about food quite often, which continues when the diet ends. Becoming aware of this was startling! For me, just the awareness is stopping cravings in their tracks. No need to go hungry, which will only perpetuate the cycle. This feels gentle, natural and healthy. I feel like a different person; like a weight has been lifted! Of course, this is not a quick fix, but my weight is already edging down naturally.

I love this book!

I love this book! Well written, narrated. It's a fresh and unique way to approach weight loss. It's not a diet. It's not a lifestyle change. It's not a struggle to do, or explain, or live. The ideas and strategies in this audio edition allow you to take a fresh approach and change your entire mindset and succeed at losing weight.

A brilliant guide to getting healthier.

A brilliant guide to getting healthier. This is a really different approach to weight loss -- not a diet or exercise book at all, and it gets to the heart of things.
I enjoyed most of the ideas in here. I feel like it could have been a bit longer audiobook, but overall I will take some of the lessons to apply to my weight loss journey — worth this money.

This audiobook presents an excellent framework.

This audiobook presents an excellent framework for habit change in a way that is achievable and begins a positive flywheel of self-improvement. I started the strategies immediately and have already made progress toward the goals I have using this approach. The author provides useful data and a suggestion to make her ideas come to life.
