The dreaded friend zone...

The last place I ever want to be with college basketball god Jake LaShae.

I am losing my mind trying to figure out what this gorgeous and confident man wants from me. I need to break through his walls. What is it about me that makes him not go there? What am I lacking?

When a mind-blowing betrayal knocks the wind out of me, and I think I can't feel any lower...Brody stumbles into my path - barefoot no less, and sexy as hell. His direct and mouthwatering swagger is a breath of fresh air. The feelings this man gives me are like nothing I've ever experienced.

But Brody has a past.

A past that makes it nearly impossible for him to trust me and let us become us in whatever capacity that may be.

Just when Brody and I truly connect, just when I think that finding my soul mate in college isn't a total joke, Jake comes back into my life...and messes things up...possibly for good.

I’m an Amy Daws fan but this one sits differently with me. The relationships are toxic, the characters are broken & so many stupid mistakes are made. Perhaps it’s because they are young college kids. But then again, they are young adults in the epilogue… I’m not a fan of plots that start with either with lies, deceit or stupid decisions. This might just not be for me.

I’m not sure if I’ll read (listen to) book 2, I think I might forget the epilogue exists & end it at the “3 years later” chapter.

The narration was okay. Not phenomenal but not bad.

I’m not sure about this one (cliffhanger ending)

Don not waste your time
I’ve read a lot of her books and I am a fan, but my gosh, this is the worst book I’ve ever read my life. The annoying voice of the reader sounds that she’s got like water in her mouth or something. It’s weird. To the annoying characters are super outrageously over the top, dramatic and immature. With characters who are pathetically, insecure, and annoying b that make problems out of nothing I really can’t believe she wrote this if I’m hard to believe I may not read any more for both ever again because wow wanna waste my time. Just don’t waste your time.

This may be the worst book she’s ever written
