Great advice
I'm not a Christian, but I love the advice in it. I listened through it in chunks, I wanted to get a feel for the book, I will now listen to it as it was intended and work on the steps. It really is full of great life advice and how to do it. Dance with the pages and make it your own.

Non controversial steps to becoming a better woman
Its was completely eye opening, and it made me realize how not humble or God ready I really am. it made me laugh when I compared and contrasted the woman God wants us to be vs the woman I am now.
I am changing my life as we speak thanks to the help of this book.

Book is great. The narrator is very pious sounding which was a huge turn off.

Legalism in Action
I found this book to be incredibly legalistic in its presentation and format. I have walked that road for dozens of years in my Christian life, but in recent years I have come to know the beauty of grace and all it offers. God's grace does not hold us to a performance based life anymore... we were freed from the bondage of the Law when we were freed from sin by the finished work of Jesus Christ or Savior. He is now our Lord and master, but He is a good master who loves us and calls us friend, not slave.
I went into this study because this book was recommended to me, but i cannot bring myself to finish it. I was hoping it would be different than the Proverbs 31 women books I have read in the past, but it was filled with bondage behaviors to follow and emulate. Even the narrator's voice carried an overwhelming tone of spiritual superiority and pride that spoke against my spirit.
I love Jesus with all my heart, and I long to live a life pleasing to Him, but I am thankful that He is gentle and loving with me and I no longer feel condemnation when I mess up (which we all do). This book laid that sense of condemnation on me again, so I write this with a stong: Beware!

Not Everything Applied
Struggled with references to God as husband; not everything in the early chapters was applicable to me; however, I was able to glean some useful applications from the information provided. I found much more relevancy in the later chapters.
