This is a great book. I think Helen Duff is the best narrator. Her accents are so good and even though they aren't exact she gives the characters so much authenticity!

Great story. The transition between time periods was well done.The narration was vexcellent.

Great story. So many twists and turns, sadness, happy moments and full of mystery and intrigue. I love a good London story and the accents. This story was very unique and loved how genuine the 1920’s felt. The characters were so believable; their voices and descriptions made me feel like I would recognize them on the street if I ran into them. Couldn’t stop listening- finished the 15 hour book in 3 days!

It took me a little while to get used to the voices variation but it was worth the wait the only thing that bugged me a bit was the « he said she said » when it’s obvious who’s talking. But hey I loved it anyway
