Useful

I had a dream that obviously meant something. It wasn't too cryptic so I thought I'd have a chance to decode it. In my attempt to break out the meaning, this book helped immensely. Luckily for me she spent a few minutes on a specific topic which happened to be the exact key detail of my dream, and I already had 1 interpretation of said detail but the author filled in ALOT of blanks i hadn't realized were blank to do with the potential meanings behind that 1 key detail. This opened up what I would call confounding interpretations. Many interpretations were applicable to this 1 detail, and i was very wrong to think that 1 was sufficient for me to get the gist.

A Beautiful Little Book on Dreams.

This is an excellent little introduction to the field of dream interpretation. It is truly suitable for a beginner in the field or someone who knows very little about dream analysis and simply wants to know more about the subject. It is also something that will interest others who have read more widely and practiced their own dream interpretation - it's a great little refresher course. It focuses on the interpretation of dreams according the tradition of Carl Jung and this makes it very easy to relate to: there are no dense, mind-numbing Freudian digressions here. It's also hard not to love Clarissa Pinkola Estes who both wrote and narrated this - her wonderful voice speaks to you rather than reads to you. Absolutely excellent. #Audible1

Running with the dream wolves

Clarissa describes a way of interpreting dreams using ones own associations instead of those of dream dictionaries- allowing one access to the messages of dreams in a much more direct and authentic manner.

Excellent debrief

Loved the description, simple to understand and the author has such a beautiful voice to listen to. Will apply the very useful tools that I learned to my own dream analyses.

Such a powerfully eloquent way to work with dreams!! Must have for all beginners. The way Pinkola Estes weaves the cycle of psyche into awareness is beautiful.

too short

this book covered many ideas about what different types of dreams mean but it was way too short, didn't teach enough, and the reader was a little bit hoarse in her voice. it was like she couldn't talk well or she was afraid to talk well. still the message was good.

short and sweet

I wish there was a bit more content, however, very insightful and a quick reference.
