Publisher's Summary

This is a very different book: It is written for the dreamers of this world - the people who KNOW that something different is possible - but who have never had the tools before.... This is a Handbook for Generating Infinite Possibilities and Dynamic Change. For you. And the world. Ten years ago, Dr. Dain Heer started as a chiropractor in California, USA. Seemingly successful and happy, Dain Heer was on the verge of suicide when he came across Access Consciousness. With this modality, based on question and choice, Dr. Heer's life began to expand and grow with more ease and speed than even he could have imagined possible. This book is his way of paying it forward.

Being You, Changing the World provides you with a set of PRACTICAL tools and processes which can change everything and give you YOU, as you truly are. It provides you with a totally different perspective of BEING. What if being you isn't about doing something differently or being better? What if it is about BEING the energy you are, in totality? And what if that can change EVERYTHING? Your life, your relationships, your money situation...and the world!

Access Consciousness is a system for opening the doors to anything that is possible in this world. By giving you access to your knowing. By dynamically increasing you awareness. By including everything and judging nothing. Today, Dr. Dain Heer travels all over the world inviting and inspiring people to more consciousness from total allowance, caring, humor, and a phenomenal knowing. His unique points of view on embodiment, Earth, sexuality, and healing transcend most things currently being taught. Being You, Changing the World is his eighth book.

Exceeded expectations!!

By far the most effective book on finding inner peace and stepping into the greatness of you! Dr. Heer uses a series of questions and clearing statements to create and invite possibilities into your life. By stepping away from judgement (and focusing on gratitude instead) he helps you to see that everything is just an interesting point of view which allows you to shift with ease into the space of being you, changing the world!
I’m on my third listening because it’s worth hearing over and over again! Best investment you’ll make for yourself!

Oh no

I honestly tried.

This book was recommended to me as something in the vein of "learning to be yourself", "being happy with you are" and all of that beautiful hullabaloo. And the first bit of the book was just that. Well, sort of. Live a life free of judgement? Sounds great! Move past unseen forces keeping you from being truly you? Why the hell not?

It's fair to say I kept an open mind. I could even brush aside the odd sprinkle of genuine nonsense the author felt the need to throw at me. "Science has long known that all atoms have consciousness." Eh? I must have fallen asleep for that class when studying physics in university. I suppose I should have went to chiropractic school, like the author, instead. But that's ok. Even as these little 'roadapples-cosplaying-as-facts' increased in frequency, I found it somewhat easy to brush them all aside. I mean, people often make stuff up to support their arguments. But if the arguments are good enough on their own, I guess that's ok. I can take in the forest as a whole, even if a number of the trees are actively in flames.

In fact, I'd say I was an absolute friggin' beacon of openmindedness for about the first 2/3s of the book. And it took some effort. I worked at it! It was only when it took a HARD TURN into discount-rate Scientology that it became pretty clear what the game was all along. That'll teach me.

I wasn't aware of what Access is or any of that stuff when I started this book. It was only after finishing it and sitting in genuine curiousity over whether or not it was actually written by the church that I had to look up the whole shebang. Wow. I think I just accidentally read a recruiting tool for Kirkland Signature Scientology. Now available in a warehouse pack.

In closing, I once read one of the Twilight books because I figured it wouldn't be fair of me to rip on it without having the proper perspective. In the end, I realized that I actually didn't need to read it afterall. It was never gonna be for me, and reading it myself was never gonna make it any better than it ever was. It was always going to be a bad book whether I read it or not. Sometimes you can know enough without having to know everything. Long story short, I read Twilight. And now I read Being You, Changing the World. And it is worse than Twilight.

I guess if gaining magic powers and becoming 'truly infinite' requires that I join a cult, I'm happy to stay finite.

Well worth the listen!

Dain is a fantastic narrator and uses real life examples to explain which I very much appreciate. I will listen to this book over and over as I continue my consciousness journey.
