Publisher's Summary

From NYT and USA Today best-selling author A.L. Jackson comes a friends-to-lovers romance about an unattainable rock star and his best friend’s younger sister....

Maggie Fitzgerald is the last girl I should think about taking to my bed.

On the cusp of turning 21, she has her whole life waiting out ahead of her - sexy AF, while still radiating an innocence that I know better than to taint. And here I am, itching to reach out and touch a girl who is so forbidden that just thinking about her feels like committing a mortal sin. Thing is I love playing with fire.

Rhys Manning is everything I shouldn’t want. Country-rock’s newest superstar. Fun. Wild. Ready to show the world a good time. He’s so off-limits - it isn’t even funny. So out of reach he might as well be a poster tacked on my wall. Too bad every time he looks at me, my heart races out of control. Now, I’m stuck living with him for the entire summer.

We’re only supposed to be friends. Still, I should have known it was a terrible idea when I started sneaking into his room. Especially when it’s clear he’s keeping secrets. Secrets that might destroy us both.

One touch, and I want more.

One kiss, and I’m spiraling out of control.

I know it’s reckless to start dancing in the flames. But in exchange for getting to spend one night with this brooding bad boy? I might be willing to get burned....

Rockstars or Vigilantes? Pick a lane!

Ughhhhh.... I’ve read several A.L. Jackson books... some I’ve loved, some not so much. This was a miss for me. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just too melodramatic for my taste.
It irks me to no end when characters spend years and years torturing themselves over an issue that probably could have been resolved with about 6 weeks of therapy. I mean, these guys are loaded rockstars, they can afford the co-pays!

Amazing

OMG how amazing! I really did not know how Amy was going to write Rhys's story after the end of Falling into You. I don't know why I questioned it. Beneath the Stars was so amazing. Maggie comes off as the broken one but deep down she really is the strongest after all she has been through. She uses her strength to help Rhys's fix 'his broken', a broken that he hides from the majority of the world. Maggie sees through the fun loving, joke cracking stallion that Rhys lets the world see, someone only those he grew up with really know. The chemistry between Rhys and Maggie is explosive. It doesn't take much for them both to realize their is no putting out their fire. Another 5 star book!!

Exciting and Beautiful ❤️

This story was my favorite of the series. Andi is always amazing how she draws you in with every word and soothes you at the same time. Zachary, what can I say he truly brought Reese’s character to life. His voice and tone makes you fall in love over and over. Needless to say I truly enjoyed this book!!!!

Amazing

I have loved this series but Rhys and Maggie gave us such a deep connection. Rhys feeling unworthy of love and haunted by his past and Maggie struggling with her own past but were the perfect calm for each other. A.L. Jackson has such a talent with how her words flow so beautifully throughout the story

Amazingly read.

Definitely worth a listen. Zachary Webber alone is amazing but together he and Andy Arndt are phenomenal.

Great Read

This is book 4 of the Falling Stars series. I have already read book 3, but will not be going to read 1 and 2 with a re-read of 3 and 4.

You can't help falling in love with Rhys and Maggie, two wounded hearts/souls who seem to be brought together. Will they allow the other to help them heal?

Wonderful story.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

AL Jackson never fails to deliver the most gut wrenching love stories. Her ability to write such gorgeous broken characters with so much love and passion inside them is beyond beautiful. Her writing can only be described as poetic and lyrical and grips you from beginning to end.

Maggie is Royce’s sister from Catch Me When I Fall. She has an incredible heart and is a survivor. The fact that she has survived so much and keeps taking hit after hit nearly broke me.

I could have never been prepared for Rhys. He is complicated, beautiful and broken from his past but he loves hugely.

Rhys and Maggie have magnetic chemistry. They try hard to resist each other but with a connection as deep as theirs it becomes impossible for them to resist each other.

This book is layered in so many messages of hope, trust and vulnerability. It is bittersweet ending this series, but at the same time I loved how it all concluded and cannot wait for whatever AL Jackson will come out with next.

Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber deliver flawless narration in Beneath the Stars. The ability they have to pull you into the story with so much emotion and passion is so beautiful. I will never get enough of these narrators.

Maggie and Rhys ♥️

AL Jackson wrote another wonderful book. Her writing style reminds me of emotional calligraphy sometimes. It’s so beautiful and elegant.
Zachary and Andi are both incredible narrators. They brought the story to life perfectly.
Marvelous book. I’m looking forward to the next one.
