This series isn't for those who love twists or turns. Generally little happens until it all happens, if you get my drift. Furthermore, in this book particularly, there is a scene dealing with marihuana use, that seems to be right out of the 1980s. It's both sad and laughable. The days of Reefer Madness are long gone for most developed world police forces - something the author seems to have missed! It lessened the plausibility of the entire tale, IMO.
