Publisher's Summary

If you are looking for a comprehensive collection of stories and facts that support a life of happiness and peace, then listen to this incredible set of four audiobooks. Each one brings unique and enlightening insights centered around finding contentment within ourselves and our surroundings. It also encourages you to continue your journey of personal development.

Perhaps one of the following describes your situation: You’ve tried countless self-help books, yet are still unsure of how to find true happiness. You’re not sure where to look, and you find this uncertainty is preventing you from living in the moment. Or, you’ve been unfortunate to experience hardship after hardship in life, and you’re wondering how you can uncover joy among all the negative memories. Or, you want to declutter your life - both your surroundings and your mind - yet you’re not sure where to begin.

If you find yourself agreeing to any of the above statements, then these audiobooks offer you the practical advice and guidance you need to find answers to your questions. The Better You Box Set: Summaries includes the summaries of some of the world’s most inspiring personal development books. It condenses them into shorter, more manageable snippets of the most important insights. The collection contains summaries of The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, The Book of Joy by Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu, and The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. There is also a bonus book, Oprah Winfrey, The Life, Lessons and Rules for Success, that takes a look at her most important life lessons and how she came to run the most successful talk show for nearly three decades.

In this collection, you will discover:

  • How living in the now is the path to happiness and enlightenment - and how you can live in the present
  • How to feel joy and compassion, even after facing immense difficulties in life
  • How to draw from Japanese wisdom and live in a clutter-free house
  • Why a house in order can change your entire life for the better

If you’re ready to find happiness and be inspired by the lessons from some of the greatest leaders and celebrity figures, then buy now!

Great summary!

Well done and thorough. Enjoyed it! I would recommend for anyone wanting to get the main points of these books but can't commit to them in their entirety.

Reader personifies ennui

I expect a summary to be just that: a summation of the most important points of each of the books; however, to listen to a woman who may or may not even be human, was simply painful. Reading a summary does not mean that one must be devoid of animation, inflection, or even interest. A reader should enhance a text, or at the very least, be normal and easy to listen to without her lack of inflection being weirdly distracting. Listening to this was awful - Very disappointed.
