Publisher's Summary

A well-written book that is a curious reminder that our in-between life with all its information lies within our subconscious.

Dolores has accumulated information about the death experience and what lies beyond through 16 years of hypnotic research and past-life therapy. While retrieving past-life experiences, hundreds of subjects reported the same memories when experiencing their death, the spirit realm, and their rebirth.

This book also explores:

  • Guides and guardian angels
  • Ghosts and poltergeists
  • Planning your present lifetime and karmic relationships before your birth
  • The significance of bad lifetimes
  • Perceptions of God and the Devil
  • And much more

Pedantic reviews about narrator are wrong

I just about didn’t get this book due to the pedantry reviews by some about the narrator,
The words mispronounced is not even .01% of this book, her voice is very good and not grating - and the over picky reviewers are missing the overall brilliance of this book .. I took a leap of faith and bought it and was rewarded with a great book well read, buy this book and enjoy it fantastic.

Mind blowing information!

This book is a confirmation (at least for me) that we are eternal spiritual beings with unlimited potential to learn and grow, using our 3D experience on this Earth as a tool. It goes into how these concepts work and has answered many of my questions. I cannot wait to read more of Dolores' books.

loved it. life is truly a journey of experience.

If you're a Delores Cannon fan, than you won't be disappointed. It's an excellent read. Some critics are threatened by her work, and may not like what she has to say, they may consider her to be anti religion... but that's missing the whole point. I commend her on being relentless in her pursuit of knowledge.

Amazing!

This is definitely a must read! The information that is revealed about our existence brings so much understanding and awareness about so many things! It is a lot to take in so I would like to listen to it again as I know I would retain more each time I go over it again. Absolutely amazing information and one of the many way makers (as I like to refer to them as) that is for our absolute benefit if we choose to listen!

No Words

Dolores' work is truly amazing. It felt like this book was reawakening memories buried within my own subconscious, if that makes sense. I kept pausing the audiobook to take in what I'd just heard, to process it, and really feel it. I was moved to tears quite a few times, because it felt like someone was finally putting into words what I've felt about consciousness and life after death that I'd never been able to verbalize myself. Everything just felt so true, and I emphasize "felt" because it's fully based on intuition. I consider myself a skeptical person, requiring evidence for every belief I hold, but this just felt right. Who knows what life beyond death holds, but if there's a theory or belief system I believe the most out all religions I've studied, this is the one I'd lean towards.

Really nice content

I really enjoyed all the questions answered and also how it's done. it brings up new ways to look at things, especially when it comes to see life after death. We have already begun preparing in this physical life to go back and continue on our spiritual life.

A Profound Journey into the Unseen World

Having been previously exposed to Dolores Cannon's fascinating work as a regressive hypnotherapist, I was naturally drawn to her book, "Between Death and Life," following my father's passing. In this exceptional book, Dolores shares the captivating stories that her subjects have encountered during deep hypnosis sessions, providing a delicate and profound insight into the mysteries of the unseen.

This book is a promising read that not only offers hope and understanding of life and the afterlife but also extends a profound invitation to question the very purpose of our existence. "Between Death and Life" is a highly recommended read for those with a keen interest in exploring the enigmatic aspects of the unseen world.

It's a book that will expand your perspective and inspire deep contemplation. Dive in, and prepare to be enriched by the remarkable journey it offers.

Highly Recommended.

Always a pleasure to come back to !

I read this book in hardcover many years ago. I came back to listen to it on this app and it reminded me of its importance in my life back then, how it changed my whole outlook on life. It had brought me peace and understanding of so many things. This book just refreshed my mind as to why I exist in this world and what my mission is.

Not for me

The book went in circles and was full of contradictions. I found it frustrating and will return it.

I love Dolores Cannon's books - AWFUL narration

Dolores Cannon has decades of hard work to be appreciated and shared. Her books are very interesting and her legacy should be meticulously preserved.

The many mispronunciations of even basic words by the narrators make it difficult to enjoy this audio book. I have this book in hard copy and read the book a few years ago.

Just thought it would be fun to listen to this book while doing chores.

But the terrible narration, and apparent lack of editing to correct even the most basic mispronunciations (NDEs are repeatedly pronounced as "N-D-E-S," apparently the narrator can't even pronounce an acronym correctly) make this experience more and more irritable and 2 hours in I am abandoning listening to this book.

Professional narration and detail-oriented editing/production is needed. Please, if you are going to have Dolores Cannon's body of work translated into audio format, do her legacy the justice of caring enough to produce a better quality audio book.

Distracting narrator

Would you try another book from Dolores Cannon and/or the narrators?

Dolores Cannon has followers, so I decided to try one of her books. The writing is poor. I don't own the book, but would like to know this: Does the text itself actually state, "... so to say," in every paragraph? Do spirits really say that? I might read another book by Cannon, but the female narrator of this book was terrible.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Cannon's assertions are interesting. Some of her conclusions match those of other writers in this genre, but some stray afield. Who knows who's right?

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Dozens of mispronounced words cause distraction. One that made me laugh out loud was "douche linn" for "Deutschland". The narrator's accent itself was distracting as well.

Was Between Death and Life worth the listening time?

No. I'd recommend reading the text.

Any additional comments?

A different narrator might have caused me to assign four stars, rather than three. I'm trying to be fair.

fantastic information

this is totally worth it however you will need to get past the extremely clunky delivery. really. obviously not professional readers. never the less it is super interesting . the worst part is a short section when the male reader makes sounds of ecstasy. ugh! creepy and grose.

One of her best.

I'll listen to this one a few times for sure. Narration is fine, don't listen to the negative reviews (it might help if you've read any of her other books as this audio version is in the same question / answer format).

the performance makes this book untenable

Audible is using the same set of reviews for this book that are used for Jesus and the Essenes. check it out.

the narration for questioner and answerer should either be performed by different people, or should be distinguished literally between questions and answers. it would sound stilted but would clarify who is talking. Dolores: .... Spirit: .... it would remove the ambiguity.

i returned this book and repurchased it as a Kindle ebook because of the narration. i always fall asleep while reading or listening, and i awakened from this book feeling irritated and exhausted. listening while awake for five minutes settled out why. it was because of the effort required to figure out who is talking.

little doubt it will be a great read on kindle.

Narrator speaking for all female character's?

I love Dolores Cannon's books'. I cannot follow this narrative, as the same voice is acting for several people at the same time. Way, too confusing!

Excellent book to learn about life between lives

Was a pleasure to listen to and gave me much needed information to lay aside any fears of the afterlife . helps me to realize that we all have the mission here to accomplish and to strive to do and be more.

How to profit from the grieve and the naivety of other peop

Dolores Cannon, was the prototype of the new-age opportunist, able to profit from the grieve and the naivety of other people……. hypnosis, past-life regression, channeling, Nostradamus, UFOs and extraterrestrials, exotic cosmogony and the cure of all known human diseases….everything is possible (without the slightest hint of a proof). She even added the word "quantum" to her healing technique, even so the term has absolutely nothing to do with what she proposed.

Insightful

Even though it scared me at times, it is the most insightful book on the afterlife I have listened to/read until now. Very interesting. It helps put together what I read/listened to from other mediums.
