Poor quality

Prononciation isn’t clear. Too loud background music. It’s not worth listening because the background music is louder than voiceover.

How about a second take?

Look, I get this isn’t an easy book. For sure. However, you do expect your audiobook to pronounce the right words correctly as you listen to it, and to read all the words in the book. The narrator in this would regularly read a similar, but different word to what was written in the physical book (I read along as I listen). The new word would often mean something entirely different from the words written on the page. The narrator also stumbled a lot over some of the bigger words and phrases, a couple times correcting himself in the recording, or frequently, if it was a word or name that he didn’t know how to pronounce it, would just skip over it entirely after a pause.

Not to mention the reading of the book, the entire audiobook had a background synth music track pulsing through it that was too loud and sometimes obscured the words of the narrator. A little music is a nice touch. This was annoying and distracting.
