These are great new books!
I’m sad the next book won’t be out until 2024 I can only imagine it’s going to be about the third friend since the other two have already had their books & love interest stories.
The friendship and growing family is just so fun, they are a great mix matched group.
The books always have a little romance, friendship, family, magic, action & intrigue.
I can’t want what will happen next.. or I will have to wait until 2024

Not the narrators, best work and author needs a better editor
I used to love Molly Harper but her writing has become lazy. The exposition is long and clunky and the dialogue she has her teens saying show she’s out of touch (no teen is going to say “it cost a pretty penny). And what’s with the narrators? Normally I could listen to Amanda Ronconi read the phone book (if such a thing still existed) but the dialogue of both readers is cringe-worthy. I’m SO disappointed.

Part 2 of a fun new series
Even better than book one. Great new characters. Excellent performance as usual for Molly Harper audiobooks

An unexpected favourite
I read the first one in the series. Then this one and I can’t get over how much I have become invested in this series.
It’s a good listen, lots of fun moments and some fantastic characters.
I can’t wait for book number 3

Love, Funny and easy, enjoyable romance🌄
I am enjoying this fun loving romance. Where women come in all shapes and sizes. Molly Harper is a new author for me and i like 🎧how she write. 😂 🌻

Loved it and Im going to listen to it again.
I love this series, its nice to hear another side to the story and learning more about the island. I listened to the first one twice as well. I didnt want to feel like I was missing anything.
I love dual narrators and when done with the excellent Amanda Ronconi and the awesome Teddy Hamilton you couldnt ask for better narration. I love the cross over between the books.

Not like the first one
I dislike that Riley is not the main character anymore and the series lost its mystery magical touch. Taking the story out of shadow house was not entertaining. One of the reasons I adored the first book so much was the wit and the ghosts and mysteries.
This new sequel missed everything. Caroline’s brothers are what, 40? And they act worse than children. All the characters seem to act like highschool students, minus the actual characters in highschool. I did not enjoy this story. The plot has major holes and things are just thrown in to make it seem whole.

Not as good as the first one
Like the first one, the romance and this one seems forced like the author thought she needed to add it to get people to listen. But unfortunately, the story itself didn't hold my interest as much.
