The story was great but it was a bit stilled in the delivery. This maybe the reason it’s best to use professionals to read the books.

after listen to the audio clip before getting the book I wasn't sold... but tried it anyway, and I was wrong! the story and narration was bang on, you definitely felt involved in the story.
started book 2 today (conquistadors) and it's also been a great story so far, already looking forward to book 3.

The story was ok, the narrator made it painful to listen to. He reminded me of a new radio dj.

Couldn’t stop listening to the story! I’m not a prepper but now see the concept from a different perspective entirely. Being prepared isn’t a bad idea and plan to start thanks to this book.

I listened to the whole series quite a while ago but with the upcoming movie wanted to give it a relisten. I really think this first book needs to have Kevin Pierce as the narrator. I really liked this book and recommend it as in my top 10 Post Apocalyptic reading list.
