Publisher's Summary
Angela grew up in an all-black upper-class neighborhood in Virginia Beach. Being raised by conservative parents, street life was almost nonexistent. Her college years at Hampton University would truly educate her; not only in school, but also in life. She never imagined the attention her body and beauty would bring her.
Angela finds herself torn between Mac, a successful real estate broker, and Damien, a young Jamaican hustler from Brooklyn. Both show Angela love in their own way, and her choice will be her destiny.

new narrator..Please
This book may have been much better with a better narrator. The inappropriate pauses, mispronounced words, and overall sound of her reading this made it a struggle to get through. It appeared as if there was a lack of preparation on the narrator's part.
The overall story was decent..nothing we haven't seen in movies or heard in rap songs. I did enjoy the homage to the 90's!!

Slow
I kept listening because I could see where the author was trying to go with the story. More focus was put on the sex.Not enough on the story itself. Took too long to get to the drama.

Good read/listen
The narrator was awful, as far as pronunciations and slow reading goes, but the storyline was pretty good.

Narrator Sucked!
I couldn’t even finish the book the narrator made me mad 😠. Do betta! She act like she didn’t know what was going on when it was going on… geesh. Read the book first or something… practice makes perfect and you need to do some practicing before you get in the studio to do a book.

For High School Aged Readers
I made it to chapter 9 in the hopes this story would pick up. The sexcapades took over the plot. I'll pass on this one. I tried to get to the end but there was no momentum to hold my interest. The events we high schoolish at best.

Whomp Whomp!
I should have gotten this book in physical format because this narration and performance made it hard to see or imagine a flowing story line.
