Publisher's Summary

From top 100 and international Amazon best-selling author Anita Gray comes an emotionally addictive dark romance series of suspense, hope, and true love.

“Captivating Dark Romance,” says Anna Zaires, New York Times best-selling author.

Bought. Conditioned. Sold to the enemy.

My name is Blaire. I'm head of security to a man who controls the Russian underworld in Europe. His name is Maksim, and he's my master. He bought me 10 years ago and conditioned me with brutality to worship and protect him. And I have protected him. I've slain everyone who has tried to do him harm. Everyone but a man he loans me to; a man who threatens to break me and everything in which I believe.

You're going to need a strong stomach and a strong heart to follow my story, because take my word for it, it's no fairy tale.

Blaire is part one in the Dark Romance series.

BLAI2E, part two in the Dark Romance series, is out now on eBook (enrolled in KU), and it is available in paperback. Audiobook coming soon.

BLAIR3, part three in the Dark Romance series, coming soon.

BL4IRE, part four in the Dark Romance series, coming soon.

Triumph over darkness

This is a VERY dark read. Men who use women for their own selfish pleasure includes a story based on a single female soldier that was groomed to be a one girl weapon before her teenage years. Anita Gray takes you through the psychological thinking that goes through her mind as she meets different characters in her unusual world only to wonder if, and how to survive as something else.
I don't read books that contain brutality however this book was written in such a way that allowed you to know and feel about some injuries but didn't make you want to throw up with the graphic details.

In Mother Russia, Book hates you.

She was tortured. We get it. She loves Charlie. We get it. She's a warrior..WE GET IT!! People criticize J. R. R. Tolkien for how descriptive he was. At least he didn't repeat the same exact paragraph, action for action, with different words ,over and over and over again. This series forced me to skip chapters, AND I COULD STILL KEEP UP! Ms. Anita has the writing capabilities of Stephanie Meyer. Not good.

Loved it. But it’s up to what you think of dark romance

This story was very good. The hero and heroine were not the typical helpless female and alpha hero to the rescue. The two leading characters were unique as were their obsticals. That is not to say that the hero wasn’t alpha. This male lead was no wimp but the heroine is surprisingly different.the other characters were also excellent. Suffice to say that this is a romance that is surprisingly and pleasantly different. Hard to put down. Caution: violent sex with the possibility of triggers.

I love everything about Blaire

For the lovers of dark and erotic this series is a must read.
Blaire is a strong and powerful female character.
the way anita gray writes this story pulls you in amd doesn't let you go you are addicted to every word.
I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series on audible as well.
I read first 2 books on kindle but the audible version gets you even more a part of this story brings you to another depth all together.

Speechless

Wow.....I wanted a listen that wasn’t the same old thing, dear lord be careful what you wish for!!!! While listening to this book, I felt I needed a prescription for anti-anxiety medication.

The writing was incredible and narration the same. Just downloaded the second book, I will probably be an alcoholic after I finish it!

Don't waste your time

First off, I was disturbed and stressed out because of the fact that we're dealing with a young sex slave here people...!!! I was looking for a sexy romance to escape to and I found myself losing sleep because I was pissed off for most of it. AND like one of the other reviewers said, there was so much repetition of the conundrum she was facing because she was wired to live that life, that the book could have been cut in half. There may have been a couple of minutes in the whole thing that were worth listening to and sorta steamy. otherwise it was annoying. Can anyone actually recommend a good one?!

Trash

Trashy content and poor writing. There are so many other great books out there. Don’t read this one.

Amazing story

I loved this book. Fascinating heroine and lovable hero. Blood curdlingly terrifying villain. The culminating torture scenes pushed me a little too far. I had to skip about five minutes. Not for those with delicate sensibilities. This said I still really enjoyed it! More than I probably should.

Oh but it is Dark!

This book was so dark, sad, empowering and so much more. I can't believe it is over. I need more. I love the narrator and the story was wicked. Blair is innocent and a monster all at once but so glad she was ...well I won't tell the story. What a book!
