An Entertaining and Gripping Mystery

I enjoyed this follow up to Cove Point Manor, and the fact that the story was darker than the first audiobook shows the talent of the writer. Even better was the choice to have a voice actor capable of speaking in both a British and an American/Canadian voice - it made the characters really come to life!
The descriptive writing style of Taylor really makes a great deal of difference, especially with an audiobook, bringing the characters and setting to life. The story reminds me of one of those old time radio plays, yet the descriptions were good enough to make the story become a movie in my mind. Very good work Mr. Taylor and Ms. Emmerson!
