I've read or listened to most of the Trump books and this was my favorite....I think it will be a great movie or tv series one day. Miles I hope we. both get to see Donald. Rudy and other top members of the Retrumplican crime family in orange jumpsuits... and MAGA relegated to the dust bin of history' with its supporters back to hiding in the shadows. Miles Taylor lived this book, wrote and read it himself, and did it with intelligence, courage, and a good reading voice. Started as a smart, ambitious, small town American boy who became a Congressional page. At the beginning, Congress contained many ethical and moderate politicians of both parties. He became Chief of Staff in the department of Homeland Security. He fooled himself that the “adults in the room” could temper Trumps excesses. He learned that if you lie down with the devil, you will wake up in hell. An exciting book that is more needed than ever now that Trump is facing multiple indictmernts and extremists continue to support him. Taylor has some cogent suggestions a put how to return moderation to US politics.
