Don't waste your money
I am a huge fan of the Harry Bosch books, but this was a complete waste of time and money. Very short (less than 30 minutes) book. Was terrible and clear was an idea for a story.

I wasted a credit on a 17 minute short story
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I didn't realize Audible had short stories, or I would've paid more attention to what I bought. I like Michael Connelly, but spending a whole credit for a 17 minute short story made me feel cheated.
Would you ever listen to anything by Michael Connelly again?
Yes, but I'll make sure it's a whole book, and not a short story.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Titus Welliver?
Yes--but, same reservation.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Blue on Black?
I'd get rid of the entire thing. It was very unsatisfying.

Don't fall for this!!! Not a whole book!
Would you try another book from Michael Connelly and/or Titus Welliver?
I love every Michael Connelly book I have read or listened to. But this is ONLY a 17 minute clip from Blue on Black, not the whole book. I cant seem to find the whole book, abridged or unabridged anywhere on Audible.

Short But Certainly Not Sweet
It must have been a slow day on the set for you to write this and then pass it off as a short story. No offense, Mr. Connelly, but this wasn't even worthy of bothering with, in my limited status of "just a reader," and I'm surprised you even allowed it to be published. Perhaps the fact that Titus Welliver did such an outstanding job in the narration justified its' publication, at least in your thinking. Whatever, let's hope "The Wrong Side of Goodbye" is enjoyable enough to pacify us until Bosch, Season 3, returns in March! That hopefully will be as exciting and satisfying as the first two seasons! Keep up the great work!

another great Bosch
Nice touch using Titus to read this short. Well spoken narrator. Great descriptive story blending Bosch 1st person narrating story and Titus projecting the Bosch charater.
