Publisher's Summary

Nothing but a #blur...

There's a new kid in town, and he's hell on wheels.

From what we've heard, it may be because

he knows exactly what hell's like.

Lonely.

Scorching.

Unforgiving.

You may know his brother, the NRR hotshot

(and former GearShark cover model)

Lorhaven.

It's only natural a driver with his background and family connections

has sped his racecar into the newest, hottest division.

But that's not all.

Arrow may be following in big bro's tread marks,

but he doesn't plan to stay there.

He's swerving onto the road less traveled...

and a lot more controversial.

He's opening up about his private struggles with sexuality

to tell a story that's gone unheard until now.

One thing's for sure; Arrow may have a painful past,

but his foot is heavy on the accelerator.

With speed like this, he's bound to leave everything behind in

nothing but a #blur.

Blur

I was really looking forward to Arrow’s story and knew it would start out rough but I wasn’t expecting to get teary-eyed over Hopper’s past. I liked the set up of the book getting past chapters from both of them first, it was essential to get the full impact rather than a retelling of their story yrs. later. Again my main reason for a drop in stars was for the instalove aspect. Yes there was attraction from afar for a while but I don’t like seeing talk about love and giving your heart away after only a week. They did have a conversation about how they realized it was happening quickly but it’s still not my favorite. But I loved the storyline and how they gave each other strength when it was needed most. One other think I would have liked to see was Hooper going back to Seattle with Arrrow- his inner monologue talked about taking a trip back to see him family after all these yrs but it never happened in the storyline so it seemed a bit unresolved there. But otherwise I really enjoyed this story.

Hearth breaking and hearth warming.

I listened to the first 7 chapters and had to stop because it was so... raw! I love this serie but the firs dozen chapters were very hard to listen to for how hearth felt they are.

I do recommend this book but be prepared to hate the awful people that can be so real, it will make you cry but also love. Is a whirlwind of emotions that you won't be able to put down.

Must rear.

Have to admit I almost stopped listening to the first of the series because I found the narrators so annoying. I am so happy I stuck with it and ended up appreciating the acting. Each book in the series is better than the next. The right about of steaminess that really make you feels the couples are way in love Just found a new favorite author.

A great listen

I have enjoyed this entire series, but this book is exceptional. In addition to a well written story, Michael Fell is an amazing voice performer. This is the first time I have heard him, but now I am on the look out for him. His voice is VERY easy to listen too.

Hopper and Arrow!

This book gets all of the stars. This pulled so much emotion and depth in both characters that it leaves you breathless. Both Arrow and Hopper are so haunted by their past, that they needed each other to pull them and keep them in the present with each other. A beautiful, long story that could have continued forever. Favorite in the series so far!

heartstrings are pulled

we knew from previous books that Arrow had a story and wow wow wow. his story was worth the wait. I hope to get more of Arrow and the rest of the gang as I just want to keep following them through their racing careers now
